The officials today got quite a few decisions wrong, but I hope nobody will try and use it as an excuse for that dirge we watched today.
It's not ironic, he's just properly ****. He looks so out of place refereeing professional football matches. On Boxing Day he gave Man City a penalty which was right in front of him but he stopped for a few seconds then looked at the linesman on the far side for his view. It was absurd that he thought the linesman was better placed to give it. I think it was actually outside the box but at speed that's excusable. Not having the balls to give what's right in front of you and rely on someone who was miles away isn't.
I've not seen the Watford red card yet, but Garth Crooks insisted it was the right decision - which is enough to convince me that it was the wrong decision.
Probably football politics with Clatenberg . He has not had the FA cup final yet , Moss got this year's . Just feel that Clatenberg has not been flavour of the month with the people in charge of the refs since he missed a year over some non football business problems .
He should of seen the ball over the line in the last minute and gave them a throw late on that was ours saying that Elmo had chested it out . Another woeful official .
