Crappy kit quiz I got 8/10 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/footba..._the_day&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport
Nearly 3-0 just now. United have been outplayed and outfought. They've created nothing and look ponderous at the back. Time is ticking for LvG... I give Wenger his fair share of criticism, but to think people thought he was a better manager than Wenger
Add him to the list: LVG Klopp Fat Sam Martinez to name a few who have been suggested to replace Wenger.
I've really not been that impressed with LvG's career in the last 15 years. Flopped in his first stint as Netherlands manager, nearly got Barcelona relegated, did well with AZ Alkmaar, achieved what he was pretty much expected to achieve at Bayern Munich, did fairly well with Netherlands (albeit they were a two man team of van Persie and Robben that were running the show) and has underachieved at United overall. He's done well in certain spells, but there's been a lot of underachievement as well.
Will we see LvG sacked after their dreadful showing against Stoke? I would think he's close or getting taken out to the courtyard for the chop... We could very well see every top team sack their manager this year except Wenger. That would be quite a story. Wenger is harder to take out than Bruce Willis, Liam Neeson and Steven Segal put together.
You think it's poor judgement to say that Fat Sam, Martinez, Owen Coyle, Martin O'Neil, LVG would have done better than Wenger ?
I don't understand how people can be so keen to replace Van Gaal with Mourinho halfway through a season. I mean yes Van Gaal has done a piss poor job by blowing a quarter of a billion on Utd with the result of an unbalanced side with no shape, no playing style that has no cutting edge or penetration. But Mourinho has done much worse with a much better side and offers more boring football than Van Gaal (if possible!) while offering none of the attacking football and stability that Utd crave. It seems even harsher to sack Van Gaal in the middle of the season when he seems very likely to deliver a top 4 position (hell he was top not so long ago), despite being terrible.
Spurs 1-0 up against Watford. Score may change, but they're currently 3rd in the league. Have to say. They're looking a pretty decent outfit at the moment. Only a point behind us as it stands.
Yeah I've watched them a few times this season and they actually look to be playing good football to get there results too. They have there best chance at a top four spot since Harry left this season.
Arnautovic and Shaqiri seem to have formed an impeccable partnership. Stoke have scored some delightful goals this season, I have to say.
arnoutovic seems like such a grumpy arsehole though Between him, Shaqiri and Bojan they have quite a potent front line.
1-1 now. Ighalo. He's looking like a very shrewd acquisition for Watford. Was a fan of Sanchez Flores at Atletico and he's doing a superb job at Watford. Early days, but one to keep an eye on for the future perhaps?
Yeah a couple of the Watford boys have surprised me, Flores looks a quality (edit: manager - lol, I'd written player!) and Ighalo really knows how to find the net, his goal against Liverpool was incredible that he buried it at such an angle. With Deeney, Ighalo has created a good partnership, they understand each other's runs really well.
