Is Byram suspended then? well if so scrap my team selections. also if that is Murphy at his best then he must of been bad in the matches he played and i did not see, or am i being a bit too critical towards him.

Ive a feeling Doukara and Antenucci may both start. Could Coyle get a start maybe. Evans did say not to expect widespread changes

I think the last 20 mins shall be crucial against Derby, Evans will have to be on his toes for quality substitutions.

Due to needing a rest, excuse for a rest or shaking it up, Adeyemi, Mowatt, Bamba are the ones I believe will come in. Wootton will start as I think Byram might be suspended. Antenucci might partner Doukara up front Wood rested.

What I expect is for players who weren't on the bench to start ahead of some of those who were. I do find that strange myself but it seems to be a common theme.

I would like to see the back four unchanged with the possibility of Bamba ahead of Bellusci. I would like to see Sloth given a chance in the centre and if Byram is suspended Botaka come in.

    ----------------Silvestre--------------
    Wootton, Bamba, Cooper, Taylor
    ----------------- Bridcutt---------------
    Botaka, Sloth, Adeyemi, Dallas
    --------------------Wood----------------

Morning Matt - as you say we do appear to catch teams in form BUT we have taken three points from our games against the bottom 4 so maybe that is a bigger problem (just think how much better the table would look if we had turned that into two wins and two draws!!)

Agree with you on the Murphy front - didn't see anything terrible there. Certainly Wood had a poor game thought Cook was awful but by far the worst was Bellusci

Not sure what the situation is with Bridcutt come January or when he is set to go back from his loan, start of January I heard so it might be his last game for us.

Don't think he will play Botaka and Dallas in the same side and strongly suspect this may be one where he rests Dallas simply because he puts so much into every game and definitely tires towards the end of games. Would like to see Sloth given a chance and never have reservations when Adeyemi is on the team sheet. If Coyle were given a chance I wouldn't mind seeing Wootton moving into the centre for a few games to see what he can do in his natural position. I think lack of confidence holds him back the most as a full back but he has a lovely touch and demands that players come to take the ball to feet. He gets a lot of criticism but he reminds me of Tom Lees quite a bit and just think if we had Lees and Cooper as our Centre Backs - how strong would that look and Cellino could have saved himself a million and a half quid not buying that Italian bit of rubbish

Morning all. I thought Murphy did alright yesterday, he made things hang together from time to time when we didn't look like we had anyone else to do the job as Cook was AWOL. Think Ristac might be right though, Evans may be bigging him up prior to leaving him out.

    What about Bianchi?

Would be a massive loss but we should be hugely grateful for the points we have bagged since he arrived. Just goes to show, in the Championship, two or three high quality additions really could make all the difference

Good point, forgot about Bianchi. A real player there if he can get 100% fit again and think he, Bridcutt, Dallas and Byram would be a classy midfield and would allow Evans to play Wood and Antennucci up top together - alas, half of that midfield could be gone in a week :emoticon-0120-doh:

He gives the impression that he could slot into any team at this level and contribute, definite touch of class.

Don't worry about him leaving though, Evans knows where there's another. <doh>

Wonder what the psychology was with that statement, nothing like making someone feel wanted.

I thought Cook played as if he didn't want to get injured before the transfer window opened
