Perfect opportunity to move his project to somewhere else. Fans hate him; the press and media rarely have anything good to say about them.

Dropping attendances; or is it he wants to pocket the Tony Watt and Ademola Lookman money before he ****s off?

I assume that Peter Varney has given this story to his old mate Rick Everitt for today's VOTV. Both Varney & Everitt are no longer on speaking terms with Richard Murray, which is a problem in PV's case as Murray is supposed to be the gatekeeper for these sorts of bids (plus he still has a significant financial interest in the future of the Club)

What a tangled web we weave. Whatever next....Rich Pemberton from CAST unveils a rival bid, his pockets stuffed with all those luvly fivers....

I do believe that a fans co-operative could work in football, better than this model.

Duchatelet has never said that he wants to sell Charlton.

He seems quite content to lose £6m a year on his little pet destruction project.

This is where the Charlton fans come in, and make him want to sell up.

There are some nice pictures doing to rounds on social media this morning of what Standard Liege's fans resorted to in order to force RD out, come to think of it, it was me who posted them.

I would love this happen at Charlton

Chelsea saying that they have agreed a deal for Lookman..... so much for the Club saying that they were close to agreeing a new deal with Mola.

Guess we would get about £2m up front with some add ons... Club will say via its mouthpiece (Mrs Parkes) that the fee was £6m .... So Douche will generate at least £3m this January.

it's on the metro and the daily star.

everytime they sell a youngster, i'd estimate we'd lose 500 fans in attendance. people want to invest their time in local kids, not see them flogged off every 10 minutes

A few members will vouch for me that I sent a PM recently discussing the possible takeover bid. Contact was first made almost a year ago, with it being ignited a few weeks back.

Varney isn't the leading gentleman though <ok>

Change our name to Charlton Alexandra.

We are nothing but a nursery feeder club now.

As Royston says, time to make it more appealing by making the Valley toxic for them.

    The
The problem with this is that the puppet-master himself is not there, and the grovelling sh*t-bags that he employs will only tell him what he wants to hear. The Giggly One will play the victim and Carol will blame the fans. The last protest was a damp squib, and once the game kicks off we want to get behind the players. So a boycott is all that is left. Although Roland will only be given the official attendance figure rather than the real one, the drop in catering sales would be noticeable.

He will be one of their 7000 players that have joined them, gone out on loan for 3 years and then leave and have to go down to rebuild their career. Chelsea would be a shocking choice for the young lad. Arsenal, Tottenham, Siuthampton, West Ham or Liverpool would all be a much better assuming they are interested.

I wonder if there is any way the fans can help this take-over bid?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to things as it stands. There doesn't appear to have been much change in a year.

I'm not getting excited by it. Yet.

Just saw the video on Facebook. Looks much better than the attempted protest prior to KO.
