Would sooner see Lovren and Sakho than Skrtel and whoever. I hope Lovren doesn't mess up and hopefully this is the last we see of Skrtel.
Klopp: “There is no doubt Benteke brings goals. “We need his goals but I don’t only think about him and goals." #lfc Klopp: "We are not a team that can play with a striker who scores a goal but is not involved in the game for the other 89 minutes." #lfc Klopp: "We need the striker for the other options too to work for the other minutes. I know Christian can do this, that’s what I said." #lfc
Christian Benteke has been told he must “run more” by Jurgen Klopp if he is to thrive at Liverpool. #lfc (Paul Joyce) Benteke: "I think I have to run more & I have to be there for my team-mates."
I don't give a ****. we could have 11 Milners or 11 Lallanas out there, I expect nothing less than 3 points and a good team effort
Because foreign managers are not well known for expanding on their comments I was trying to put the meaning to them for him Klopp: “There is no doubt Benteke brings goals. “We need his goals but I don’t only think about him and goals." #lfc (I also think about the way he occupies the central defenders) Klopp: "We are not a team that can play with a striker who scores a goal but is not involved in the game for the other 89 minutes." #lfc (so we need a player like Christian up front) Klopp: "We need the striker for the other options too to work for the other minutes. I know Christian can do this, that’s what I said." #lfc (and is why I pick him)
He should be back soon. Pretty sure I heard that he was expected back in training in December/New Year
The team has been playing against expectations .... If we expect to lose, like against Chelsea City Leicester, we win. If we expect to win like against WBA Watford Newcastle and the likes we get shafted. What are we expecting against Sunderland ?
Borini vs Christian - Will Borini raise his game to get his own back on the people who discarded him?
He seemed to feel like he was unfairly treated by Rodgers - which is weird, given that his personal connection with Rodgers was one of the reasons for him coming. I could see him trying to prove a poitn against Rodgers, but he's obviously not here any more. Don't know to what extent that applies to the players or fans though. I think Sunderland will struggle this season; it looks like Sam's got a big Task ahead of him. So presumably they'll beat us.
