Shambolic day for me yesterday but it was my worst day a Saturday, why I bet on a Saturday I will never know !
Chelmsford 215 a bit of a tentative ew bet on red stripes at 10/1. The Varian/Mitchell combination on stocking at 3s is not to be overlooked but I just can't help but wonder why Meehan has chose Jordan uys who takes of a handy 7lb . Red has already beat stocking this year whilst Mitchell was on board and today red is 7lb better off .
The claimer is the concern but he does have plenty of experience and the odds are more than fair. Red has a excellent place rate and is below the last winning mark.
Good luck all who play

Shout on red stripes Uncle

Last dabble of the day in the lucky last at Kempton - Draytonian looks to be on a decent mark for handicap debut and can send Dicke, dear old Pip Hobbs and the Whateleys home happy.

Paddy Power Chase is a minefield for punters.I think Rossvoss could run well for Ted 'Straight As An Arrow' Walsh. Was impressed with his last run at Navan and looks to be on a decent mark. Will have a small saver on Gallant Oscar.
It came to pass to score at Limerick

Sprinter Sacre is still knowhere near his old self, but he still might be good enough to prevail at Cheltenham. I think today he proved that he isn't just a bridle horse, and can battle if required. He did beat a former Champion Chaser aswell today, who had just won the Tingle Creek, so the form is probably still pretty good.

Un De Sceaux will be the one to beat, but he proved again today that he's no certainty. I do think he is better left handed, but even in last years Arkle he crashed through many fences, so he's gonna have to sharpen up on his jumping if he's going to win

Booom-took 4s;load of late money.Culloty winners are rare enough these days, not a big fan after he jocked Davy on Lord Windy but always nice to see the smaller yards having a winner.
Small wager on Draytonian in the lucky last 9/2

all being equal not a bad Christmas for the 606's. My personal profit came from Cue Card and Stoke at a healthy 5/2 beating United bringing home a nice 4 team accu. Some good pointers for Cheltenham, now just a mere 10 weeks away, Eager anticipation. Happy New Year to all<cheers>

Been a tough couple days for punters overall so well done on the winners today lads.Vaniteux last jump cost me a nice double with Sprinter. For me the last couple days racing has told us (A)Faugheen/Douvan stand up and they win in March (B) Vatour will hose up in the RyanAir,with DP/SDC & Djackadam Gold Cup bound surely Willie will go this route(C)UDS jumping is a liabilty and wont be going in my Willie Wonka accumalator in March!

Just worked it out Ste, Vaniteux cost me €400 on my patent. Can't grumble though, very good last few days for me racing-wise and back in the bosom of my family.

Re Chelts just done a yankee on Min, Douvan, Faugheen, Annie

I cant back Annie after what she did to me Oddy.I still wake up in cold sweats during the night shouting 'Annie you bitch i'll have you!',freaks the missus out no end and I get relegated to the sofa for the rest of the night.

<laugh> that's why I do the yankees rather than straight accas. Had Douvan, UDS, Faugheen and Annie in a €10 win yankee last year. If she'd stood up I'd have cleared nearly 2 grand but at least I got about 300 back for the 3 winners <ok>
