so true Valley, my Mr Plan was: we are 1-0 down, havnt used a sub, lets have 3 forwards on and then lose 2-0 because we a. have no forward talent or depth and b. all our defenders are off. probably a bit harsh on BR but that was my pet hate about him, Monk etc no idea how to used the subs and timing of said substitutions, ok rant over

Agree, a bloody good caretaker though. But today once again highlighted we need a top class striker.

I have read in the Sun that the River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo wants the Swans job. Even sent his agent to speak with Huw when he was over there.

Now I don't know anything about him, so an interesting one.

Don't understand why the club sacked Monk without having a replacement ready!

Management seems clueless: Huw rushing off to Chile(??) coming back empty handed. No manager through the Xmas-programme WTF??
Maybe that is what made odds on Curtis go up.
Chelski had a replacement ready after sacking Mourinho, so will United when they, eventually, loose patience with van Gaal.

Swansea (players and fans) are in a limbo, rumors and speculations flourish, and insecurity spreads...

If true? This is the problem, every man and his dog are being linked. Saying that, it would at least be an advantage if we did get someone who is eager and genuinely interested rather than chasing all and sundry until someone gives in and agrees to take the job, possibly just because it pays enough.

    You're bang on there Mikra!

Or look at it from this scenario, with Curtis in charge of 4 games in a 15 day period, it's better to have someone at the helm who knows our league, players and opponents inside out rather than have somebody new come straight in during the most difficult period (fixture wise). I'd much rather have Alan in charge at the moment than bring in a new guy where he has to get up to speed on the PL, opponents, our players etc all the while with the pressure of 4-5 games in 2-3 weeks. Especially when we are/were in the relegation zone.
Get as many points as possible under Alan, and the new manager come is with less pressure as Alan steers us away from the relegation zone (hopefully).

Over the years and managers I heard a lot of , when things weren't going great , "We need a plan b " .No manager could seem to come along with a plan b
Along comes Curtis with good performances in his first 2 games without a striker or wingers .. A pretty good plan b if you ask me ....lol
