  2. WTF was Benteke doing in the dying minutes? Why didn't he just put it in the net? <laugh>

    Who knows?
We might need to wait and see a few more games rather than jump to conclusions.

I think a golden sheen of not being available has enveloped Mr Ings personally. The lad had a real mixed bag in front of goal. Still he was a trier which is important too.

Still better than being the target though...

Origi has had some positive efforts since Klopp's worked on him but he still needs time and not to be over burdened with expectation

Poor benteke, twice the player rooney has been for Utd yet no love... shame.

  5. That's not a bad thing. Not taking anything away from the other players as its a team game but even the best sides in the world struggle when you take their best two players away. Just look how Man City have struggled without Kompany and Aguero! Plus, those two players probably make the others play better too.

**** knows. Lack of confidence I think.

It was one touch and pads it home imo.. tried to walk it in.

But then ask wtf was sahko doing trying to play keep ball in his own half and falling on his hole.

Today both got away with it.

Other games we've been punished severely so everyone still has a long way to go to be really on it imo.

As I said earlier if we don't follow up v sunderland this 3 points is just going to be another 3 on the pile getting us to safely.

He's just dumb. It's actually sickening that he could mess that up.

    Excellent point.

I would not say everyone mentioned earlier o layer all that badly but for sure the two main men hurt Leicester.

Lfc had just enough on the pitch to match Leicester.

Why the same players were limp v Watford I dunno.

And no it ain't just cos skertl wasn't playing... That's just stupidity talking.

  9. Once he'd took his first touch to control it he just needed to pass it into the net. Simple goal but he tried to take it closer. Fair enough if he was going to pass it around the one Leicester defender but he bloody took the shot still <laugh>

  11. Nope. It would be sickening if it were 0-0 at the time but in the end, it didn't matter.

  12. It wasn't the same eleven was it? Or did you mean in a general sense?

MOTD suggested we played 442 rather than 433/4231 today too?

As I said... as someone who did actually pay attention I know this lad is a confidence player.

It it had been sturridge out for 2 games he'd have hit up cos he thinks he's it...

Benteke needs confidence.... simple as. Every player us different... but you know a couple more v sunderland and he could be right on top of his game. Right now he's not sure of himself yet our top scorer which shows how our season has been

General sense... as in describing lfc as a club.

As for motd they are quite blunt at times.

    Super G Ted'inho likes this.
  15. I know he's a confidence player, you don't need to preach to the converted!

However, I don't think you need to be confident to score in a empty net either <laugh>

I think Sterling got a lot of criticism for missing easy chances last season.

Benteke has been just as bad.

    #297
  18. Sterling missed easy chances from two yards. not just one but several and he's continued to do it at Man City. Not sure Benteke's missed sitters like that!

Benteke has missed some very easy chances. I can think of at least two which were a couple of yards away. And he's actually a striker.

    #299
  20. So you think an attacking midfielder / winger is entitled to miss sitters but a striker not? #genius
