Was a foul but only ourselves to blame, we started the second half with no urgency, we gave them the impetus, so we should blame ourselves, we are 1-0 down and came on doing **** all, and when u play like we do, that's what happens. We fully deserve to be 2-0 down, and lucky it's not 3-0.
Having seen the disallowed goal against Mertesacker again, you can perhaps argue that we were fortunate that it was ruled out. Ref hasn't been great in all honesty, but if we'd performed well enough today, the referee wouldn't be the issue. The fact remains that its been a poor performance and based on each side's respective performance, we don't deserve anything less than what we're getting. It's been terrible all round.
Our players haven't come off the bus yet, what a useless performance so far, have we done anything this half other than concede a goal?
This game tells you everything about what's happening in the Prem league. We're the best team at the moment yet we are getting out played by Southampton. We are still in the mix but this just shows how unpredictable things are.

we have just been completely ****, and didn't try, when you don't try, you get thumped, simple. We have done this so many times, coming to away stadiums thinking if we just turn up we will get something, our arrogance and complacency has cost us today.
It wasn't. Or at least if the ref is going to give that with his back to play, right by the by-line, then why didn't he give the foul on Koscielny when he was 20 yards closer to the play ?
The fixtures I least look forward to every season are Stoke away, Southampton away and Chelsea away. Koeman always seems to get his tactics spot on against us. Ref has not been good, but we've just not been up for it at all.
Can't argue with that. The 2nd and 3rd goal were **** decisions against us, but overall we can't complain about it. Our performance has been well below par.
To be honest is anyone suprised? Not one team in the league is outstanding and we Yes but are we outstanding? I think we're doing well but just playing a bit more consistently than the rest. This result isn't a shock for me as none of the top teams have looked like favourites.
If we put an actual effort, we could have been capable of getting something, but when you don't even try, you're setting yourself up for such a result. You cannot go anywhere in this league and not try.
