I'd probably hold off studying Leopardstown card. It's surely hugely doubtful as it's to piss down all day.

VANITEUX looks like the only opposition to Douvan in the Arkle and for the sake of television, sport, and the next 3 months banter, would want to be winning the novices chase tomorrow at Kempton.

try not to laugh too hard, but FLEMENSTAR might just show a magical return to form in that ground tomorrow IF Leopardstown goes ahead.

I can see him finishing in the first two because he jumps and travels so well over 2m in that ground and he might get far enough ahead of all bar Un De Sceaux that he can hold onto a top 2 finish ahead of some tired horses.

I see Alan King has another McNeil-owned juvenile in the opener at Kempton - Gibralfaro - winner of 4 of his last 5 races on the flat in France up to 1m5f. Sure to have been thoroughly prepared for his hurdles debut he looks worth a dabble at around 9/2 tonight (Boylesports go a stand-out 6).

Ste I was at Down Royal today and it hosed down in Belfast all of yesterday..they were fine..so should you if you avoid the green bits on the weather map...touch and go given their projected trace but I would be optimistic.

The Grade One novice hurdle in Leopardstown usually fires up a top class beast but I'm slightly underwhelmed by this year's running. My regular readers will no doubt recall I put up TOMBSTONE to successfully duff up a Mullins jolly the last day and he has 4 from that stable to fend off tomorrow! As I had a small flutter on him to win the Neptune I wonder is tomorrow (if it's on) even in swamp like conditions likely to suit? I'll have a small play at 10/3, as I do suspect it will be a stamina loaded animal that prevails.

Watching brief all round after that. Hopefully UDS and Sprinter look the business, as well as Hendo's Vanitreux, if only to keep the Arkle winner at odds against ;)

Will be having a decent wager on Long Dog tomorrow.Ruby has chosen him over Bachasson after their close run race in the Royal Bond last month.3/1 looks like a decent price to me.Tombstone is another threat but I think Long Dog will just about see this one out.
Nothing original but Vaniteux/Sprinter double 2/1 looks worth a few quid.

I'm actually looking forward to Woodland Opera gents. Surprised a good many on debut and certainly has stamina and testing ground in the pedigree.

Woodland Opera for me too. Coney Island hosed up today to frank the form also. Nicholls unleashed his Triumph horse Favourito Bucks in the first at Kempton. Harry Derham regularly posts videos of his schooling sessions on twitter and he does look very slick.
Ew on my old pal Vilbrato.

Like the look of THE LAST SAMURI 6/1 Kempton 2.35 could make up into a very decent animal this season.

Hendersons mare BROXBOURNE at 9/2 will take all the beating too in the 3.10

Arzal for me tomorrow at Kempton. Harry Whittington has 2 other runners there who interest me ew. If it's on I'll take Urano and Paul Townend in the handicap chase at Leopardstown at a tasty 28/1.
