Andre Gray to score (to appease the "we should have bought him" crowd) but us to shade it 2-1. Diamande and Snodgrass to start.
He's crap at pre game interviews isn't …. In an article this quote is taken from, he eulogises about Gray and how we were so close to getting him…. and then this comment about Dyche.. 'They’re honest, genuine and they mirror the manager that they’ve got.” Exactly why your team aren't firing Bruce, not spending enough time getting your own house in order. I bet there's little or no discord at Burnley.
Claudio Ranieri has revealed how he turned to Jurgen Klopp last Christmas after experiencing the anguish of being sacked by Greece. The Leicester manager watched Klopp coach his Borussia Dortmund players at a sunshine camp during the Bundesliga’s winter break, admitting a manager can never be too old to learn new tricks. Ranieri, 64, was dismissed by Greece in November last year following defeat to the Faroe Islands and praised Klopp for allowing him to witness him at work. The pair will come face to face as Leicester travel to Anfield, and Ranieri insists Liverpool have one of Europe’s best coaches. Now bore off you negative ****
I haven't seen anything from Diomande to suggest he's anywhere near scoring yet. Here's hoping he proves me wrong today.
Be fair though.. he's been injured for a few months and has only had a few minutes here & there at the end of a game. His goal scoring record in Norway was top notch. Hopefully, given a chance, he'll be able to replicate that here.
Quite a few games off today inc the ones at Blackburn, Blackpool, Bradford, Rochdale, Wigan, Accrington, Hartlepool & Morecambe
32,000 sell-out expected at Derby County today, amazing what dynamic ticket pricing and not alienating your fans can do for attendances.
Bruce is wary of the threat posed by the Clarets, who will be searching for their sixth consecutive win at the KC. "We going to have to be at our best to beat them," he said. "We haven't got the best of records against them and they're a very, very good Championship side. "They're very hard working. They've sold Kieran Trippier (to Spurs) and Danny Ings (to Liverpool) but straight away they've replaced them well. "If we're not on our game defensively, they'll be a handful. We know Boydy (George Boyd) and we know them inside out. "They're honest, genuine and they mirror the manager that they've got." Another exciting attacking game then ... from them ...
according to the mail its the same team as against Rotherham.week in and week out most of these players are not winning their battles for steve bruce and he is hoping that contract negotiations will alter that.if not burnley will really rub our noses in it today and where do we go then steve. if it was up to me then sell the big time charlies (we all know who they are)and give us some players who want the shirt.we got rid of three such players in the summer and they are badly missed.
When we were winning games no one missed macca, rosy & Quinn! We've now lost a few games & people are talking about them! No one questioned their attitude while being here, but they wouldn't get on our bench now. Imo
Lets get behind the lads from the off today. So what if we go a goal down. Lets keep on supporting and not moaning. Come on City.
what you say is fair enough when our better players want to play.but macca, rosy, and quinn offered maximum effort and no little ability to the mix.i agree they probably shouldn't get on the bench with the options available.but if you went to leeds and Rotherham you would (like me)be just a bit fed up with some of these players at the moment
Me too! But I think we should be looking forward not back if we're not happy with attitude of some of the team. January will be interesting if we don't pick up points this week.
