Don't. Talksport purposely try and stir **** up so people tune in and call their 10p a minute phonelines. You'll just be doing exactly what they want you to do.

Anyway, it's such obvious bullshit its unreal. Alan Shearer has said directly that he wanted to stay as manager of Newcastle, but Ashley and co never contacted him back.

Do you not realise the format of the show? Durham says a load of **** that is controversial then whoever is side kick is (normally Goughy but i think its Alvin Martin this week) argues it. Despite how much Durham argues, there is not a chance he believes what he actually says in most cases, it is just a show. Controversy = listeners/readers

For the record, i agree that Shearer was over rated, that isn't to say i think he was ****, far from it but for me personally, i think he let his ambition get in the way and we had to carry him for his last 2 seasons, just to break the record. Just my opinion, prior to his injuries, he was exceptional.

The guy is doing a job, which is to stir up controversy, with him taking one position and Darren Gough taking the other. People then get angry and phone in. Kerching!!

A mate of mine worked doing the morning show a few years ago for Century. He got on very well with his co-presenter, but was told that he had to be a bit more confrontational with her, on air, as that would push up the ratings.

For all anyone of us knows, Durham may be alright, off air. He just follows his brief very well. One should take everything he says with a large ladle of salt

 

Mate, please do not be upset at anything than moron says, because that is his business - upsetting people.

The best response anyone can make to that scumbag is to ignore him. You'd soon see him taken off the air.

I used to like Talksport but idiots like Durham put me off. He talks the biggest load of Sh*** imaginable .
Shearer is the greatest striker the PL has ever seen and it will be some player who overtakes him.

 

I reckon both bambam and Durham have less real mates than a leper hermit...
