We are having Turkey and Duck this year...I fancied a Goose, but I was out voted by the rest of the family..
A client of one of the daughters has given her a "turducken" (chicken inside a duck inside a turkey) which I think is called a three bird roast over there, while we have a ham. Not particularly looking forward to eating mixed meats in one package but she is cooking it, which I am worried about as her idea of home cooking is putting a pizza in the oven. Twelve family over to us so I feel a migraine coming on.
There's nothing would make me happier than sitting down to a freshly made kebab with chilli sauce and all the trimmings.
Just chuck in a small turkey instead of a chicken and thats your xmas dinner mate hoy in a viennetta and you are Keith Floyd reincarnated
I don't eat turkey. It's ****e. I like my meat moist and juicy thanks. I'd have had a Duck or Goose had I been doing one. Chicken Sunday Lunch it is.
My mate bred some chickens with 8 legs I said thats a good idea what do they taste like he said no idea I can't catch the bastards, Merry Xmas Funky.
Turkey, Pork n Beef plus pigs in bacon. Carvery type scran. Bung it all on the table and just tuck in. Got a team of outlaws for lunch so covered all meat preferences.
Sorry for the late response Comm, I was at the airport last night collecting a guest and then it all went mad. Just waiting for the household to wake up so here's my ham ........ turned out great thanks. Christmas dinner is an easy choice for us, we can have anything we like on other days but we're very traditional today. While I'm on, I'd like to wish you and everyone, on whichever board, a very Happy Christmas and peace & happiness for the New Year. please log in to view this image
Thats an old style kitchen. Very tradotional. I like it. Im sick of doing all these high gloss, high tech ones. You can turn your oven on by using your phone. Really wtf.
