<laugh> He'd probably never seen displays of mass public drunkeness before. I live near Alexandra Palace where the world darts tournament has been taking place; the streets are full of rowdy drunks dressed up as bananas or reindeer. Only a few are genuinely intimidating, most are just loud and annoying, but the spectacle of mostly young British men enjoying themselves by getting completely insensient is a bit disturbing, and I do wonder what tourists make of it all.

    https://uk.style.yahoo.com/post/135779827789/struggling-mum-becomes-porn-star-to-pay-for-her

Woman gone public to say she has done porn films to raise money to buy her son Xmas presents. She has felt the need to include a photo of her son in the article. Pretty sure the average kid would rather not have a bike than have his Mum publicise how she earned the money for it. Not the job (nothing to do with me) but surely she could have kept her kid out of the paper.<doh>

You didn't mention the key facts in the article:

1,500 quid on presents .... jeez!
    She's from Portsmouth.... Nuff said.

Of course kids want good presents, but a better gift would have been a Mum who taught him to be grateful for what you get and who protected him from bullying (because bullying is definitely coming his way).

It's diesel. The number 4 injector was replaced but then they found that the number 1 injector had to be replaced too and recommended doing them all. Seemingly, I got a "good" deal on the parts and doing all together will lessen the labour charges. Have I been naive in believing them?

He should be grateful - he could`ve been in Middlesbrough, Dundee or Pompey.

You need to look after your car Fran. By the sounds of it the halogen level is low in your headlamps and you need to get that checked out. I am sure you'll find a garage that can top them up but insist on halogen fluid and don't let them fob you off with some inferior substitute. While you are in the garage it is a good idea to get them to check that the tyres are on the right way round only some tyre fitters often get this wrong.

For many vehicle tyres that is absolutely true. For instance, all motorcycle tyres have to be fitted the correct way round for rotational direction.

    Honest.! Really.!!

I can tell you don't believe me. :)
