Not specially made as far as I'm aware
With apricot and walnut it is like a meat version of a fruit and nut bar...what could be better?! Mind you I also like Baileys
I must admit even I'm a little surprised with myself but my horizons are broadened with the meat/fruit/nut combo
As for their vanilla slices that someone mentioned they are bloody huge. I don't like vanilla slices personally but others in the house do
Anyway I'm off there soon to pick up the turkey

Not had the Ridgeways, but 49'r is nice (they do it on draft in Blue Bell in Cott)
Chambord gets used in champagne or prosecco at ours, are you drinking neat or in something else?

The original Czech Budweiser (by which name it is sold in the UK) or Czechvar, as the name it is marketed under in Canada (from an an agreement from around 1935), is a great beer but the maiden's water, called Budweiser, offered by Annheuser Busch is ... well ... maiden's water.

Is Jim Murray of "World of Whisky" fame well respected, a **** or do distillers buy him off? He has named Crown Royal's Northern Harvest rye whisky from Gimli, Manitoba as 2016s world's best whisky of the year. As a result, no one in Canada can keep it in stock and our store has sold 600 bottles in three days. I had my first taste tonight and whereas it's OK, if it's the best, the rest must be ****ing awful.

He's the man without a doubt. And his pronouncements influence world sales massively. If your sales are lagging Jim'll Fix It. Although I suspect he may have dropped this tagline.

The problem is that one's taste in Whisky is as individual as one's taste in women, or pies or cheese or shoes or responses to CCTV footage or whatsoever else posters on here argue about before realising that one's opinions are subject to variation when compared to those of others.

Whisky? If you like it, drink it.

If you don't like it, put ice in it.

    All three?
I haven't drunk it, but it doesn't sound like something I'd buy anyway
Having a quick nosey on reviews accessible through his blog it seem that you have the same view as others
    I particularly liked this one
"I was excited to try this as I am an avid Crown fan and like everything they have done.when pouring this treat my anticipation grew, my mouth watering ! Putting my fine Waterford crystal to my lips for the first time with my new treat was a joy, until I tasted it! The only description I can give is raunchy armpit juice! Terrible, awful and all my friends agree!"
    "Raunchy armpit juice"! Brilliant

I had never heard of him and I doubt that people here are queuing up to buy his recommendation.

I used to be a single malt man, but I soon found whilst I was sitting back savouring the peat flavours with hints of elderberry, my mates where at the bar for the next round calling me a pretentious twat.

Today (actually yesterday, just) I've been drinking Becks, Hobgoblin, Single Malt (Jura Superstition) Salted caramel baileys and home made Sloe gin
I've been eating pork pie, Christmas cake, mince pies and Indian food
I have literally no idea what day of the week it is

The ale is taking its toll and I am not risking the Christmas cake. I think my arse may be partly responsible for the storms. I have nearly farted myself inside out.

    Is it Tuesday?
