He's not playing regular, just CL games. Same as last year. Weird situation to be in, only getting about 10 games a year and not really knowing if your first teamer or not.

Story is also in the Independent, better than the Metro?

Ok, ta. That is weird. Obviously it's common to only play a certain keeper in the Cups, but I didn't think the CL counted in that sense...
Independent definately better than Metro, assuming it's a not a rumour round-up or something.

Sky reporting that Gurjic is set to sign after his club confirmed had accepted a bid.

Aays on on there his father took away his passport because he didn't want his son ruined by moving to England (good start <laugh>)

Will be loaned back to Red Star for rest of the season and join us next year.

Stegen seems like a logical keeper to target. Before he went to Barca he was seen as one of the best young keepers around but ended up playing second fiddle to a more experienced keeper at Barca. He plays well off his feet and used to playing behind a high line back 4 and has a very decent level of experience for his age. But he is still very young for a keeper so suits are recruitment model.

The main question for me is, is he to young? Do we actually need an experieced keeper first?

3 seasons at Gladbach and one and a half seasons of CL and Copa Del Rey football at Barca, plus he's gone through the Levels of the national team, so there's experience there. I don't think he's too young.

I love the fact that this is the best the BBC could do for a Picture:

Looks woeful at barca to be honest.

I'd rather collect my Treble medals than movery if I was in his place

Ter Stegen would be a great signing but would cost a bit.

Timo Horn is my choice - just as talented, lot of potential and buy out clause for 6m.

Don't care about age - De Gea and Courtois both started early and are world class. Look at the older lot in our squad - they're crap. Age is a myth.

I think personally anyone under the age of 30 should be trained for years as a sweeper keeper. After that .....

err no it's not - it is a easily measured fact honest
now if you said old age is crap i would have agreed with you

Offers pace and width... sign him!

Ps, your signature is ridiculously big! You'll have @Noblelox on your case seen <whistle>

Yeah, thought it might annoy folks when I did it which is why I did it as a quote so some of it is hidden.

Might unquote it so its bigger and add some Christmas decorations, maybe a tree or Santa too ;)
