Although I know nothing about Sebastian Haller other what is in that article, just the fact that he's called a 6ft 2 striker is enough to concern me. It doesn't given me the impression that he's that pacey, run-in-behind striker that I believe we badly need. In complete contrast to the alternative article where we're linked to Remy...

(I would happily have us sell Victor next month, if it meant getting Remy and a replacement for Victor).

 

Surely for Chambers to come back and worship at our church, he would have to eat a lot of humble pie first....??

If I remember correctly, Les Reed packed Chambers' bags personally. He was a promising youngster who should have stayed here, but we were happy to sell him for too much money. Don't bear him a grudge as he had the decency to struggle at Arsenal.

 

I'm perfectly content with Chambers returning. Doesn't hurt having someone to spread the gospel that the grass isn't always greener, even if the pay packet is a bit more robust.

 

To be fair, history with us aside, he is the kind of player we should be looking at.

Young, English and can play in a number of positions. Would fit the bill nicely.

When the exodus occurred a coupe of years ago, I suspected very much that most of the players who left would not be results in their respective teams ever. The only one who was, was Shaw but injury curtailed that.

Long as A) it's true B) he eats humble pie and C) acts as a model pro I can't see it being a bad loan.

Folks... post after post, thread after thread about us needing a RB. Here is a one who can play RB, CB and CDM. If this is true, then go into your gardens, dig a small hole and put your hatchets in there for the next 6 months. He could be just what we need. Yes I was pissed he left, well let's use him now.

 

Chambers is basically Yoshida. He's not all that great at right back. And he wouldn't play over either Fonte or VVD at CB. Presumably, he would be favored over Yoshida, but I'm not even totally sure about that.

From our perspective sure... he's better than Caulker. But not sure why he would come here just to sit on the bench when he is already doing that at Arsenal.
