    I don't use him to protect me, I can do that fine myself. More to protect my property when I'm not around, as i had a couple of break ins when I was out. Since I've had the dog nothing has happened again since.

    Most would be criminals do their homework, and would be smart enough not to target a house with a big dog. And if they are stupid enough, good luck to them, as they'll do well to come out alive. :biggrin:

    Doubt it, my Beagle wouldnt even fall for the sausage trick. I've trained both my dogs not to eat anything that I haven't given them, or that isn't in their food bowl. As there are plenty of idiots who try to poison dogs these days, so it's a good thing to train them :biggrin:

    My dog was bright but he would eat anything , I tried to train him not to sniff old lasies gussets .
    Impossible.
