Even if he only won us two games a season that's a darn site more than the "no games a season" many of our other players win us. Wij is immense and there's some budding other talent around but we have a lot of bang average or below average players and even though Siss is over-rated by many outside the club he is also actually one of our better players in my view.

He's begun to look like a good player again recently. Was trash for most of the first third of the season though. The Janmaat of last season very much captain material at times but has looked to be a bit of a bottler to me early doors this season. Hopefully he past that rough period now.

But if we can get £!5M+ for him and buy another player who fits our system better then surely we then improve? We can't sell a Tiote/Colback type player for that sort of money and get in a better replacement - so Sissoko should go and am sick of players who only turn up for 20 minutes of a game once in a blue moon!

I dont think we should sell him yet unless we get to Christmas and we really need to change things round. I will be really annoyed if our first two signings are not two strong defenders (centre-back and left back) as anything else is just distracting us from the real needs of the team. Our goal difference is one of the worst in the division and that is a result of conceding far too many.
I know we need a strong holding midfielder with good passing ability but we wont get one of those in January. Upfront I think we need to give Perez, Mitrovic, Thauvin a chance to show they can do the business for us or we have just thrown away UKP25million on the latter two.

Agree save if we buy a strong commanding CDM first I wouldn't object. This may do away with the apparent need to have 2 CDM "protecting" the back four even at home even against the likes of Watford.

The problem we have with our crap defence is a need to have two CDM's protecting the back four. Compound that with those two CDM's being crap and you can see why we concede goals. I see we are linked with mainly attacking players in the January transfer window [no surprise as attacking players command higher potential sell on fees] which is quite ridiculous really when everyone can see what the problem is. If we don't sign defensive players in January then we are asking for trouble.

We need his energy. I don't buy into selling him. Who would we replace him with? Exactly!

No one is expendable and after a while I suppose you just kinda get used to players leaving.

At the end of the day Moussa is often lazy, is a liability when relied on for defensive work, is inconsistent at crossing/deliveries and just all round inconsistent in general.

His energy? He plays when he wants and he blatantly thinks he's too good for us. If he thinks he's that good, he should put the effort into proving it, which he hasn't done. There have been others that have shown themselves better than him or at least on the same level.

We need someone in the team who works hard and can put a decent delivery into the box consistently. I wouldn't just sell him immediately, but long term we should be looking for someone else.
