Where do you see us finishing?

I have a feeling will have a strong second half and end up in 12th place.

 

I think that is optimistic but I guess doable. I am going for 15th with a poor end of the season and us selling pereZ to spurs.

I hear that Gouffran is potentially on his way out with Townsend coming in. Potentially, a good bit of business. Get some defenders, a creative midfielder a winger and striker and I can see us challenging for the top 10.

That's the thing - The PL is so open this season. Finishing top 10 isn't a pipe dream.

 

I suspect a lot of people will be disappointed with our January 'business'. Expect phrases like 'realising best value' and 'keeping our powder dry' and 'no panic buying' etc, etc to be trotted out in Penfold or Schteeve's next email.............. which ultimately means we might have a cheap young 'un in, two at best and an established or certainly more senior player going out.

Austin.........nah! Proven PL player with bags of experience and a fee and wages to match........nah! Another cheap punt on one of these 'cream of Europe' talents that we apparently cherry pick, develop into world beaters. Almost certainly. Things have not and will not fundamentally change with 'the structure'!!

We are very fragile both mentally and in some respects physically, we need some prem quality steel to shore things up and get stuck in for the fight, which will undoubtably be coming.

 

No idea, there's enough in the tank to take this side up into almost the Europa League slots. But equally there could be issues and concerns with relegation.
