Ye i said this earlier. He's playing poorly enough to be dropped but he's still got 4 goals and think its most assists with 5.
By his own high standards, I think he's been very poor this season, yes he's scored and got some crosses in but the rest of his game, defensive duties and tracking back have been virtually non-existent, he's either tired (when did he last have a week off?) or he's on his way in January.
I do not like you slagging off my team . Yes we were awful in the first half against Reading and a good team would have had the game won by half time . City were only a goal behind and we came out in the 2nd half a lot more positive . We took the game to them and dominated play , they did not put us under any pressure . Their keeper and our poor finishing meant we did not go in front earlier . Okay it was not a great display but we won .
Star Wars isn't a kid's film. Just because it has a PG certificate doesn't make it a child's film. What next? CBeebies presents Apocolypse Now? When you were 20 it's highly likely the most fun thing to do was play cock-a-hoop or help mother peel the taties. Or, fix your penny farthing. Or, I don't know, generic old timey insult pertaining to how ill informed you are about today's society. Pick one.
Right. So because we won all is forgiven? So how do you explain Rotherham? Or Leeds? Or the other myriad times this season where a result has papered over the cracks of underachievement? Nobody likes being critical of their own football team but it's a sad indictment of where we've got to. If the fans continue to pretend everything is alright, how will the team know we're pissed off? I mean, some people clapped at full time against Rotherham. What were they clapping for? "Oh bravo lads, you tried your best, I support City and therefore you can do no wrong in my eyes." No. It isn't good enough and the players and the management need to know this, we are the reason they're playing, don't forget. If they aren't impressing us, they need to know about it.
When I was 20 I doing a lot more fun things at midnight than watching films like Star Wars. As were most of us. Having a lot more fun at football in 1970 than today's lot are as well. Which of these grown up toys have you asked Santa for? Will you and Quill be battling on Xmas Day with your light Sabres in your star wars costumes? http://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/action-figures-playsets/c-339/star-wars/
He's not slagging off the team, it's the manager and tactics. I don't blame any players at the moment just mismanagement and bad coaching. Even Aluko could be a decent player with better management, we are crying out for somebody to step into Elmos shoes for a bit until Snodders takes over.
Grown up toys? So liking a film franchise and being 5 are now the same thing? You're a psychiatrist's wet dream Castro. Kindly explain why you think the Star Wars film franchise is aimed at children.
Lucas himself admitted they were aimed at children here - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/394542.stm "The movies are for children but they don't want to admit that. In the first film they absolutely hated R2 and C3-PO. In the second film they didn't like Yoda and in the third one they hated the Ewoks... and now Jar Jar is getting accused of the same thing"
They clearly weren't aimed at children, they were made so that people of all ages could enjoy them. The sheer amount of violence and death in them suggests they weren't solely children's films
Don't rise to it Sterling, there's a few stressed out locals on here at the moment, Christmas is probably a bad time for them. Maybe the old farts forum City Independent has shut down and they need to vent and show their superiority.
Yeah you're right, they're probably angry that they couldn't find a posie to give their finest gal at the dance hall.
Proper old school boys on CI , some of you on here are not in the same league .More superior than you , then the answer would be yes .
