Dogs

Yeah I know they look stupid with there ears cut and pinned up. It's banned over here as its rightly considered cruel.

I think it's to make them look more menacing, but it just makes them look silly. I know I wouldn't want to do this to my dog

 

To be honest you should just get a mongrel. Most breeds are inbred and therefore *****s. Mongrels live longer as well.

 

This is true. My Ma had a dog that looked like a wee gremlin and the ****ing thing was always having problems. Ended up ****ed with arthritis which apparently is common with the breed.

I'd to take it to get whacked.

The thing is with mongrels is you don't know what you are getting, the dog could be bred poorly for all you know, which then would end up costing you a lot in vets bills.

Atleast with pedigrees that come with papers you know exactly where the dog has come from, and proper kennel club registered breeders always breed for good temperament. They won't breed from dogs that are aggressive for example. Where as you can't always trust your typical mongrel breeder.

Not all pedigree dogs have health problems either, I've had 5 now so far in my lifetime, and none of mine have had any major health problems until they got very old. It's about doing your research into the breed your thinking about before you buy them.

Dogs with squished up faces like English Bulldogs and King Charles Spaniels are the ones you want to avoid, as they are prone to breathing difficulties, so can end up costing a fortune in vets bills early on in their lives

No it's just that I live in the country, have a massive garden and need to dispose of a lot of.....err....meat on occasion.

Bullshit. Breeders or most of them breed for money. The kennel club are a disgrace and crufts is mutant fest.

I've had dogs all my life, and the Doberman is by far the smartest breed I've had, and by along way.

I could walk mine off lead alongside busy main roads at about 9 months old, that's how obedient they are. Some of my other dogs at 4 and 5 I wouldn't risk doing that, but Dobermans are incredibly intelligent.

You want to do some research on them before you make yourself look silly. They wouldn't use them for personal protection if they where stupid

 

Of course they breed for money, but they get more money as a KC registered breeder. So they wouldn't want to risk their reputations by breeding aggressive or poorly bred dogs.

if there was enough complaints made against a breeder, then they'd lose the right to sell puppies that are KC registered, therefore it would cost them money
