This is how bad/good it has got for me..... At 1-0 up and against 10 men, I just looked at our remaining fixtures and very nearly predicted Evans will get Manager of the month award for December.

I have been painting and glossing all day today so maybe it is the fumes...

Been thinking about you guys in recent weeks in relation to signings to get you guys back to the PL. Years ago, Southampton would sign "over the hill" internationals such as Alan Ball to propel them to promotion. Portsmouth did it when signing Merson back in 2002/03.. And it worked. The question is which "over the hill" player would you go for if you could persuade him to forget the big pay cheque in the US, the Gulf or China and instead make a name for himself in guiding Leeds back to the Promised Land. For me it would be ......Rooney, provided it was a free transfer and he was willing to accept a drop in wages. Such a signing would send the average home gate above 30,000 on a regular basis, increase shirt sales, and likely increase in sponsorship deals. What are your thoughts?

I'm sure it would inspire our players to see Rooney nailed to a cross in the dugout. The club would make a fortune selling the fans rotting fruit, knives, hand grenades etc. to thow at him as half time entertainment. You might be on to something there .....

Hang on, didn't he retire a couple of seasons ago? Doesn't he now run a chain of old folks homes for randy old bints? Who he never has contact with, of course! (Perhaps they don't charge enough?).

Rooney an overrated player I would hate to see at Leeds. My dislike of him has nothing to do with the club he plays for, I just don't like anything about him.

A much loved player in West Yorkshire I can see from your response. What about Milner? I think you need a former great like Didier Drogba, if only he were 33 and not 37/8, that would be the kind of signing who would fire your club to the PL.

Milner would be a good shout.... Family are still local, puts a shift in and would give some much needed bite... Even though he says " he would never say never to Leeds" it won't happen because it doesn't fit with el presidents business model of paying peanuts.

Pointless discussing ex big names. No one will leave the over rated pl until they can't hack it anymore so why would we want them. What sense would it make to offer Milner 70k a week in two years when he's over the hill. It worked years ago when salaries weren't ridiculous like today. Rooneys on 300k a week plus ffs. Why even discuss him if we don't mention Messi and Ronaldo as well

Rooney wouldn't come to us, but getting Milner would be good news. That said, he probably hopes to go to the Euros next year, which wouldn't be possible if he played for us in the Championship.. That said, never say never. So who knows in a year or so

Now that he has avoided a ban and I didn't want to reply too much until a decision was made... One last word from me... There are at least a dozen members who have said we won't make top 6 yet he chose us two, if he had not named just two people it would not have been an issue, if he had named several people it would not be an issue, he named just two out of the many who had said in the past, we will not make top 6.

In all this time he has happily clicked the like button as he has followed proceedings but not once thought to defend himself and say no I didn't mean it that way or apologise if it came over wrong. I apologise for bumping this issue but I wanted to make it 100% clear

There is a BIG difference between me actually expecting him to and pointing out what he could/should have done if 100% innocent <ok> I did say last word so now I am guilty of telling fibs too ;)

I see Limbode a player we were after has got rave reviews and is now wanted by Ajax so his transfer fee will be nearer£3m now
I remember watching Ajax in 1957 their goal posts were not rounded but square I thought that was very dangerous
