Suggestion. Create a separate Star Wars Spoiler thread. Those that want to discuss it can do so there. <ok>

In a few weeks when everyone has seen it merge it back into this one.

All I've heard about Star Wars is it's pretty much the same as the first one?

    Not that I give a **** tbh.

    Is it really good?
Looked cheesy as **** to me.
But I have never given it a chance in fairness.
The subject matter was never of great interest to me. Then again I did like Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs.
I just have a hard time picturing anyone but Sir Tony in that role :)

    A fair summary would be....
Season 1 Hannibal is part of a team investigating killers and it's a format of mainly 1 case each week and them investigating it with the main story coming in small bits, a format I don't like long term and I was going to stop watching if it just continued like that. I was told it didn't and to keep watching. Season 1 very good 7/10

Season 2 then changes and the story of Hannibal really begins after a good grounding in season 1 and you realise how important that season was. It focuses on the main characters and some elements of the Red Dragon book turn up. Season 2 brilliant 7.8/10

Season 3 and it takes off from the brilliant season 2 finale and all the pieces come together at this point we are approaching full on Red Dragon and the story coming to an end. 8.2/10 easily so far I have about 3 left, there is no season 4.

Mads Mikkelsen is brilliant as Hannibal extremely clever and vicious, dare I say better than Tony.

Yep. It was superb. In some ways, better than BB.

I agree, I wasn't a fan of the character in BB, but going back like that and understanding where he came from was brilliant TV.

Seen bits of Hannibal. Might tuck into the rest of it.

Seen: The Hateful Eight, Room, Brooklyn, The Revenant, Star Wars ... all good

No its not. It's pretty good but you could never accuse it of having to stand on its own like a new hope had to.

Funny in spots.. decent action in spots... bit of a stretch even for what it is in spots.

Sounds good. I take it Netflix has it?

Just finishing off Luther and I'm also just getting into Homeland (one that somehow escaped me, but so far I'm really enjoying it) then I'll get Hannibal on the go <ok>

    It's on Sky not Netflix.

Do yourself a huge favour, watch Season 1 of Homeland and walk away, it turns into the worst TV ever.

Although I liked narcos a lot it doesn't really touch breaking bad, which is all I can compare it to really.
