Given the same conditions, would you say that it would be a failure for Spurs to finish outside of the top 4 ?

Isn't it voted for by players and professional journalists?

I'm as anti-Chelsea as anyone and felt Hazard was a deserved winner last season. Sanchez finished very strongly.

Will be a more interesting debate for this season's.

If they can keep it up, both Vardy and Mahrez have got to be in with a shout.

Problem is they'd probably end up splitting the vote with someone like Ozil getting more than either. Ginola won it that way. If Arsenal win the league he has to be considered.

I hope Ozil is in a position at the end of the season to win this title <ok>

  9. If we don't finish in the top 4 this season, the club should view that as a failure.

TBH, no. If we did make top 4 it would be more than any of us realistically expected. We're a young side that's still growing and learning under a relatively new manager. I think most of us hoped for top six, anything else, a bonus, IMO.

Your club glorify failure, so even if you bottle it, I'm sure you'll still be able to put a positive spin on it.

In that case then, you can't really accuse Wenger of being a failure if Arsenal don't win the league. If you're using those conditions that Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool are all ****, then that should also provide Spurs with a golden opportunity to get into the top 4.

  13. Isn't that what a true fan is all about, though, PIXIE?

I've never been a plastic, so I don't know how they think. Perhaps you can enlighten me?

You need to talk to the type of fan who claims to support Spurs, but then goes licking Chelsea's arses and then starts slagging them off when they start losing. <ok>

Oh he's definitely a laugh alright, some of the **** he comes out with will have you in stitches. Trouble is most of it is at his own expense, but he doesn't even see it. That makes it even funnier <ok>

  17. LOL! He sounds like a right card! The sort of bloke who'll put you down like a right sucker, but with a glint in his eye and a cheeky, all-knowing grin. He sounds like the sort of bloke women regularly throw themselves at, naked, hoping to land on his enormous tool.

Hell! who wouldn't want to have a bloke like that as a best mate!

I think this year it would be justified. For whatever reason, all his major competition are having major problems. If he can't take advantage of the current ordinariness of City, Utd, and Chelsea, he has failed. Let's face it, they'll all be back no matter what it costs them, so he'll never have a better chance.
