Give LVG a beret and the transformation is complete.

If nobody else is available then yes. But I think we can wait to get someone else.

Well we can safely say it won't be Arsenal. All the noise coming out is that Pep wants a new challenge not to sit on his arse waiting for Wenger to retire.

I'd be amazed if it wasn't 1 from City, United or maybe Chelsea. City most likely though that could mean sacking a man who could well have won them the title by then. It'll be easier for United to move LVG on in the next 6 months so they have to be in contention as well. They badly need a manager to bring attacking football back after the dross served up by the last 2 and can offer him money to burn.

As the only 'top' side currently without a manager for next year, we are an option but think the job will not appeal as much as others.

Apparently Pep has already decided where he will go. Not sure how he can do that unless there is already a vacant position, which suggests it could be Chelsea ?

I actually think mourinho would be a good fit for United. We need someone to fill fergies shoes who is confident enough to handle the pressure. I think mourinho is that man. I also don't buy the negative football thing. Chelsea of old played decent stuff but knew how to close out a game.

I'd prefer pep but I'd also rather have mourinho than any other candidate.

This is what I imagine when I think of Mourinho entering Man United...

Or, they're planning on making a vacancy? Like City or Utd?

Yes, quite possibly. Seems like the wheels are turning in the background.

My random guess for next season

    Pep to ££££
    Jose to UTD <cry>
    Simeone to Chavski
    Wenger to stay at Arsenal
    Rogers to Swansea
and a new Englishland manager when Woy ****s up

This would be harsh on Pellegrini in my opinion. He's just signed a new deal and still in the hunt for 4 trophies. Say City win a couple of trophies this year, are they then going to sack him straight away?

Perhaps, but would seem to fly in the face of the reason why many think he wont come to Chelsea i.e our persistent manager rotation.

Still seems City is number 1 destination but as I say, seems early for these decisions to be made when they are doing ok this year so far.

The guy Pep replaced at Bayern had just won the treble (I think).

Indeed but didn't he retire as opposed to being sacked?

Considering the massive expenditure, I don't think Pellegrini has done anything special. Neither has LVG. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if either one were replaced by Guardiola or Mourinho.

I think Abramovich will make a big play for Guardiola, but I doubt he'll get him. Too many managers hired and fired.
