    I have a lovely wife. She's very patient (needs to be) and deserves treating now and again. Tomorrow night the kids are both on a sleep over so I suggested we go out to the cinema together as we actually get an evening to ourselves. Apparently going to see the Star Wars film is a stupid idea.

    I just don't understand women!

    Pisses me off that on the weather forecast on BBC, it always shows Portsmouth, but never Southampton. Maybe its another BBC cut, and they can`t afford Southampton any longer, and need something a bit cheaper ?

    Bees declining in the US because of land being turned over to growing crops for biofuel (encouraged by recent legislation). This has also been reported in the UK. Crops for biofuels are reducing diversity, but are encouraged as a green alternative for energy. The old law of unforeseen consequences.

    It depends which elevation they set the view to. I used to notice your point too, but at other elevations Portsmouth disappears and Southampton emerges. More than anything it is just representing a geographical feature, ie, a city on the southern coast. We're slightly up the river, by comparison.

    Besides, they can never get the weather right for Southampton, so they might be hiding us. :)
