Klopp has made it known he wants to give his squad the rest of the campaign to prove themselves. lfc (Chris Bascombe)
Anyone know anything about our new midfielder and Klopps first signing? It's a lot to pay for a young player.
Grujic looks talented. 6"4, composed on the ball, box to box. Rumours are that we will take the number 8. One of the best players in the Serbian league (which is muck) but still impressive given his age. One for the future. Matip is another big lad, quick, strong, very good on the ball. Can play CB or DM. Better than Lucas and Skrtel but not sure he's still good enough. On a free, I think he's an excellent option. Still only 24.
Running out of bodies. Will that mean Toure and an unfit Sakho against Leicester? With Bogdan in goal?
Not sure how long Migs is out for so we're stuck with Bogdan. To be fair to him, he flapped at the first chance but he was fouled the next. Klopp didn't fancy Toure against Watford - unsure if that was a tactical decision if he simply doesn't rate Kolo. But once again, a few injuries and our squad is painfully thin after so much spent. Ridiculous.
As I have said before, lets igore this season as due to a mixture of injuries and crap players we will do nothing, maybe a cup run. Next year is Klopp's year, things can only get better. Although I am sure Utd fans thought that when Moyes went and Van Gall came in
Sentiment is right but its not easy to ignore this season since its current. PS...Giggs came in when Moyes left
I'm not convinced Can is good enough for a CB partnership. He was allowed to get away with minor things in a back three but he'd get punished for the same mistakes in a pairing. As much as i don't like it, I'd go with Toure & Sakho and get the midfield to offer more protection. Play 4231 with Lucas and Can holding. Maybe tell both FBs to pick their offensive moves more wisely too.
... what a lovely and rather unique experience...Liverpool positively ****ting themselves about how to deal with the impressively potent attacking play of Leicester City.. at Anfield to boot! ..so loving it right now
