Not gonna say whether it was handball or not, BUT if you have your arms that high and the ball hits your hand it is handball regardless of how it came about. IF he had his hands by his side and it hit him from close range then it wouldn't be considered handball. His hands are in an unnatural position to try and block the ball.
Hmm, havent seen much of Pratley recently but I don't think so. Bridcutt was one of, if not the best midfielder last time he was in the championship. Whether he is now is a different debate entirely, essentially signing him and getting him back to that form and we have got someone to build a team around all of a sudden. Pratley is the wrong side of 30 and in a team struggling to stay in the championship at christmas.
Hey'up Josh, Agree about Bridcutt, he's a breath of fresh air to our midfield and certainly someone we needed, if we can sign him, and as you say, getting him back to peak form we have a little gem in midfield but, as you know with Leeds United, there's always an if and a but. Being on loan it could be he's putting himself in shop window, then there's the Brighton links and what Allardyce said; suitcases certainly followed Bridcutt to Leeds, as as we all know, nothing is smooth sailing at LUFC. If, and I say if we continue winning games, and we sneak into playoff positions it might give Bridcutt something to think about, that and/or a decent contract may just sway him, but, there's a few ifs in there yet.....
Yea, don't get me wrong. I am in no way expecting us to sign Bridcutt permanently, just saying I think we should and he'd be the better option over Pratley by a long way imo.
