Saw it today. Excellent, but the film was so fast paced I'm going to have to watch it again to process it all.

Utterly spellbinding. Saw it in 3D Imax.

I came so much the audience will have been glad of the free spunk deflectors which were handed out as we went in.

    The best film EVER.

Also, **** red heads, that's sooo old school.

Daisy Ridley is an angel sent from heaven and I would drink her bath water.

What an utterly stunning specimen of humanity she is.

    Wow.

    Just wow.

Gonna go tomorrow and watch it again, this time in 2D.

I had something at the back of my neck at one point too.

And the dry cleaners say that it may never shift.

I saw it last Friday afternoon, in 3D.

The acting was dreadful I have to say, the story was dull and ill-thought-out.

Harrison Ford & Carrie Fisher looked frail and their scenes together were awkward and cringe-worthy.
C3PO was simply irritating and R2D2 was not used enough.

I couldn't relate to the new characters as they were all far too intent on providing comic-relief where it wasn't required.

The new 'villain' that is supposed to be the child of Han Solo & Leia was about as scary as a public schoolboy.

I suppose watching this film in my 40's was never going to endear me, but I had MUCH higher hopes for a film that was so long in the making.

Not good, but it could have been worse.

The problem with most Star Wars fans these days, is that they are so passionate and sycophantic about anything to do with the 'franchise', that they simply forget that these films are supposed to be great, but sadly this first one of the new batch is nowhere near being great. It's like a religion to some people and coupled to 'growing up with these characters', some really won't hear a word said against it.

Don't worry, I won't let it slip that Han Solo is... oops, nearly!

It's true. It turns out that he's a transsexual who is the love child of Mon Mothma and Grand Moff Tarkin.

I don’t get it? Star Wars, never seen them but how do stars war? They are tiny little shiny things in the sky? is there like a Hitler star trying to make all the other stars conform to his way of thinking? Star Trek sounds worse, I hate trekking, why not drive? at least you won’t get any blisters, plus how do you trek in space with no gravity. It’s really frustrating how this all alludes me!
Also why make a film with an ending in the 70's or whenever and then make the beginning in 2015? how are you meant to follow it, what if you were 60 in the 70's when you watched it and didn’t make it to 2015? I don’t think these movie men are sensitive to that!

My only gripes with Star Wars - They waited far too long to make the others after Return of the Jedi. I love the new one, but waiting 32 years was ridiculous. Also, George Lucas is a ****. Those prequels are a ****ing disgrace together with his special edition tinkering of the originals. The worst thing? He won't do the decent thing and release the original cuts for the fans. Muppet.

Very few things get me passionate aside from NUFC and the nutters that run it. Star Wars and George Lucas' ability to **** up a gem however really get my goat haha.

    Well, it's Disney, isn't it?

The whole world knows a part of it was shot at my mate's gaff in Gloucestershire but they are not allowed to mention it, admit it, talk about it or anything even though the film has been released.

So look on Google and one can see it was shot there but look on their site and not a single mention. Disney's legal eagles have gone overboard with this one and it's little wonder that a lot of the magic has gone.

Can honestly say I have never watched any of them. Think I better wait until they stop making them then I can watch them all one after the other, or in reverse order, or whatever Fibonacci series order makes sense. This idea of making pre-quels does smack of bad planning though. In future all films should start with the characters at an extremely young age so they can keep them in order. I am really looking forward to Batboy, Iron Baby, Rosemary's Foetus etc
