What a complete ****er! Garth Crooks (who he?) has named Alex Tettey in his team of the week, but hardly mentions his contribution or input - preferring instead to bleat on about the failings of Van Gaal http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35146970
It was the comments about Jerome that made me laugh. Of course if a player does well against his beloved Liverpool that's worth twice the kudos. The fact that Utd have only conceded once at home before yesterday obviously is nothing in comparison to overcoming the mighty Skrtel. Commentators have to be mindful that 75% of their audience associate themselves with Arsenal, Utd, Man City or Chelsea. Frankly it must be tough even for them not to get sick of the plastic corporate hijacking of English football at the top of the game...
Yes, according to all I have read, Man Utd did indeed lose and little old Norwich won a "Famous" victory - like it's never happened before. Was quite a regular thing in the late 80's
Tweet to Michael Bailey, of EDP / Mustard TV: @jackalcub @michaeljbailey Yday was my third time seeing Norwich play Man Utd. My previous 2 were the Carrow Road 2005 and 2012 victories. #3from3 And his reply: Michael Bailey @michaeljbailey Michael Bailey Retweeted Luke Cubbage In that case Luke, keep yourself free for when #mufc please log in to view this image come to Carrow Road in April... #ncfc please log in to view this image And so say all of us!
This just confirms why Manure are hated so much by real football fans http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/legendary-bbc-presenter-demands-season-7050194 Gordon Burns @mrgordonburns Well...Norwich! I mean NORWICH! At home!! And Bournemouth, I mean BOURNEMOUTH! Am speechless. Wd like refund on season ticket pls @manutd What a tosser
Just read a comment on the EDP website I don't know if it's all down to LVG, but I watched their match against Eindhoven and it was dire. Their problems really started when Sir Alex was in charge and he jad no replacements for Scholes and Giggs coming through!!!
His tweet mentions being cheered on by 70,000 fans- other than a few minutes after they scored they were fecking silent, maybe it they did get behind their team, they would act as a 12th man, but their arrogance and plasticness prevents that
See I had allot of sympathy for Moyes with what he inherited from Fergie and the relatively small ammounts by Manure standards he was allowed to spend. But LVG has been backed more and It has been his own folly not to get in a truely top centre back. he however is still dishing up OK results but with dire football. Now where have we seen that before? I maybe wrong but I don't recall LVG being so negative in the past so why now? Bah!
Be fair, they probably were cheered on by 70k fans if you include those watching in Hemel Hempstead, Staines, Ashford, Bexhill on Sea, Fareham, Truro, Aberdare, Pontypool, Rhyl, Easter Ross, Stonehaven, Limerick, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok (sorry Thai), Jakarta, Bali, Perth, Shanghai etc, etc.......
Yes, Thai, there must have been much weeping and gnashing of teeth where you were at the final whistle on Saturday Hope you paraded round in your yellow and green to rub it in still further
