Fifa president Sepp Blatter and Uefa boss Michel Platini have been suspended for eight years from all football-related activities following an ethics investigation.
They were found guilty of breaches surrounding a £1.3m ($2m) "disloyal payment" made to Platini in 2011.

Both men denied any wrongdoing. The bans come into force immediately.

Hopefully that's both of these crooks out of the feeding trough for ever. Time to really lay into them and ban for life in fact they should be imprisoned.

This is almost as much as FIFA can do but think the FBI are building a pretty strong case against them both !!

Former Fifa president Sepp Blatter and suspended Uefa boss Michel Platini have failed in their appeals against bans from all football-related activities but have had the period reduced from eight to six years.
