Think I'd rather we signed Shane Duffy than Hanley TBH. James Tarkowski would also be a good choice out of the Championship's selection of CBs.
Would Hughton or Lambert sell to McNally though!? Lewis Dunk is doing well, but A lot of Premiership teams have looked at him, and decided not to go for him, it was rumored Ipswich were going to bid for him, and didn't follow it through. Hanley is decent, and got a lot of fight, but I worry about his temperament. He lundges in and gets booked a lot, plus giving away free kicks.
Duffy's not a bad shout. Don't know anything about Tarkowski really which is part of the problem! Ha! Good point... I actually always thought Hughton and McNally were on good terms especially as McNally did him a massive favour by sacking him while we were clear of relegation
Good point, but I don't think they would sell a star player now, and we wouldn't cough up the money they would want. Which I'd guess would be well above his value.
Unfortunately I think you're right. We'd be looking at close to £10m I would have thought and our fans will blanch at that I should reckon... Just noticed that Lambert is unbeaten in his first five matches, winning three. Looking positive for him.
Conflicting reports here. Metro suggesting Lamine Koné to Sunderland is pretty much a fait accompli. http://metro.co.uk/2015/12/16/sunderland-agree-lamine-kone-transfer-deal-report-5570127/ Whereas, the EDP this morning think Norwich are in pole position http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...on_villa_rivals_for_steven_naismith_1_4354306

Cromer - I've just seen that they want to buy Mahrez as well. Let's hope Leicester succeed in holding on to both him and Vardy!!! http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/628365/Arsenal-Man-Utd-Leicester-Riyad-Mahrez
"Our manager has delivered an incredible year. Beating Ipswich in the play-offs, that magical day at Wembley and now a famous victory at Old Trafford. City need to repay him by giving him the resources to strengthen the squad to give Norwich the best possible chance of staying in the league come May. Like Paul Lambert, Neil is as ambitious as he is talented, and it’s easy to forget he is still learning his trade. If his ambition and attitude is matched by the board in January and beyond then results like this one won’t be as rare." http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/view...h_alex_neil_s_ambition_and_attitude_1_4354577

I've always quite liked you as a poster KIO, but somethings cannot be unseen, my cornflakes nearly reappeared! Bah!
KIO posting that is not acceptable. Can you please mark that sort of photo as not safe for work before posting so that we know not to look at it.
City to offer £12M for Afobe ! http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/..._12m_for_wolves_striker_benik_afobe_1_4354878 Edit:- Rumour comes from The Sun so scratch that
Football really has gone mad when you can read a rumour about Norwich spending £12m on a championship striker and not be overly surprised by it. I think Afobe is more likely to move in January than he was in the summer, but at that price I'm wary! Naismith for £6-7m at least gets us somebody we know can score in this league, albeit with less resale value, and I don't see us signing both. At £12m, does that leave a lot left over for a centre back?
IF we did spend that kind of money rest assured that the total payment would be appearances and results based with us staying in the EPL
