Wow now they are all great albums
Really difficult to find a album nowadays that doesn't have a duff track

Kurt Vile
Believe I going down

Is getting close for me can't turn it off
But you have to have a few years I guess for it to truly register

So many great albums over the years but one I always return to is '12 Dreams of Dr Sardonicus' by Spirit...

This week I am mostly listening to Oil City Confidential soundtrack to the film of the same name about the mighty Dr Feelgood. Really can't pick it a single all time favourite.

I hardly ever listen to an album all the way through nowadays, and I would trade all the records for books on a desert island. I like music a lot, but my attention span for it has shrunk massively over the years, unless it's live.

I think the not a duff track bit is important. I would've said Aphex's first album but there is one track I don't really like.
Another album that would be a contender if you could take the best dozen tracks only would be Sandinista by The Clash.

Mine would be Interpol's first album, Turn on the Bright Lights.

Honourable mentions to Radiohead (OK Computer), Darwin Deez (Songs for Imaginative People) and Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon). Probably more if I thought about it.

There are a few...

Not Faking It - Michael Monroe
Ready An' Willing - Whitesnake
Fossil Fuel - XTC (a best of, but think that qualifies)
Badmotorfinger - Soundgarden
The Real Thing - Faith No More
The Sinister Urge - Rob Zombie
Rising - Rainbow
Stormbringer - Deep Purple
Northwinds - David Coverdale
Clutching At Straws - Marillion

I'm sure there are others!

I would struggle to pick just one, so here's the first that comes to mind, can't choose between them.

Violator - Depeche Mode

Coming Up - Suede

Music For The Masses - Depeche Mode

4 - Foreigner

The Real Thing - Faith No More

The 2nd Law - Muse

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
