To February: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football..._the_day&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport Doubt we will see him play again, we can add him to the list of Arsenal players missing a year of football because of some obscure injury. What exactly happened to this guy's knee? Did he take an arrow to the knee? Or did someone axe him on the knee? He is now approaching 8 months out, by February it will be just short of a year since he's been out, so what exactly is wrong with his knee?
It really says something about our medical team when hodgson has said for ages that welbeck won't be back until March, but we've maintained he'd be back much, much earlier but it keeps getting pushed back closer to March time...
Also the Welbeck injury is weird as ****, Wenger has never gone into much detail about Welbeck's knee. Did he pick up the injury in a game, and what is actually wrong with his knee?
Yes, which is weird and worrying. Makes you mistrust everything coming out of arsenal/wenger about injuries
It is very strange- its not as if he keeps picking up different injuries or strains or anything is it? Its just one mystery inconsequential injury that has kept him out for almost a year!
Not sure why he feels the need to give incorrect information regarding player return dates. I wonder if this has something to do with lessening pressure from fans to buy players in the winter transfer window?
Welbeck was a panic buy by Wenger. What a waste of 16m and for that matter what a waste of a manager!!!
Wenger has been a spin doctor for years. Remember Gazidis said a few years ago that Wenger approached the board asking to understand their ' sustainable ' gameplay in respect of which he would do his all he could to keep the club competitive. Point it - you can be competitive up to January and fall away after that. What is the point of not being competitive in May? It seems to me Wenger has lost the ability to win which is why he hides behind fourth place which he claims to be like a trophy. He cheats us the fans and he and the board/owner sells us short. Woefully short.
