Swansea City v West Brom Premier League Sat, 26 Dec, 15:00 Liberty Stadium Well, with the West Ham game now history, focus turns to next Saturday's Boxing Day visit of Tony Pulis' West Brom. Having taken just 7 points out of the last 39 points available, the Swans find themselves in the relegation zone at Christmas for the first time since their promotion to the PL. This really is a must win game for the Swans ahead of consecutive away games at Palace and Man Utd respectively. I'm hopeful that the draw against West Ham was the turning point for the Swans, and I'm going for a 2-0 win
Like our chances Taff , both Rondon (forward ) and McClean (midfielder ) received red cards last game against Bournemouth . Out of a possible 34 games they could have started this season , they started 30 and were subbed in 3 . Probably a good wrench into their managers plans for the game , a 2-0 home win sounds good to me too .
We need to start winning if only to shove it up this lot..... http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=166494 COYS
WBA have only scored 9 goals all season? If we cannot get a win here, then we do not deserve to stay up, and Curtis is making a big mistake starting Go-miss, he needs to come off the bench only, the game against Citeh was far better from us with Ayew leading the line. It's getting that we really do need to teach our grandmother how to suck eggs............
It should come as no surprise that they are revelling in The Swans' current plight. It was ever thus. Living in the shadow of The Swans' for so many years has clearly taken it's toll. The season of goodwill is upon us,so let's be mindful of that, and wish them all the best. On the other hand ...
like roof mentioned, great news about MacLean (re:injuries to our players) and Rondon (re: goal threat) are suspended for this game. Still can't see us winning though. I'm going with a 1-1 draw, Ayew to hopefully take some inspiration from his brother's great strike against Newcastle and get on the scoresheet for us.
Don't worry about the head slapping ****ers. We may get relegated - but they'll still be head slapping ****ers
Never going to happen, because we are not going down, and they are seasonal bottlers, who are not going to come up, just in case you've forgotten.....
If we can`t beat them, then we are in real trouble, if we`re not already in real trouble. It`s all very well having loads of possession, but if we don`t do anything with it then it`s all rather futile. I hope that Curt will now start to get the players moving forward with a bit of purpose, with the exception of Go miss of course.
