Seems that the hard grafting, old school 'teams ' are thriving in this league -Leicester. ,Palace and Watford -what does that say about the so called premier league -there is even more money to spunk next year!

Other than Ibe, we massively lack speed up top. Something which klopp's tactics require

Speed of thought is much more important than speed of feet. Like us you are far too slow getting the ball to the players that can do damage.

Personally I would struggle to name you those players that can do damage. Other than Coutinho, I wouldn't be in a rush to get the ball to anyone

I'm not going to gloat as these things have a nasty habit of biting you on the area. I was delighted with the way we played today but was really struck by your lack of confidence and self belief when we had both in spades. I suppose it's what happens when you are on a winning run and also illustrates how important it is to bounce back quickly.

Congratulations to Klopp and his class though - full of praise for us and made no excuses.

His positioning was astounding at times as he ran off up the park. But then so was moreno. He offered no pass for sahko at times.

I felt the difference in organisation in both sides was unbelievable.

We will have to knuckle down to work I think.

    Everyone must do better.

Excellent post. Completely fair and I agree totally about the over playing the ball and guys wandering off doing their own thing.

It is in my view as simple as this organisationally it is very difficult to build a team, a real team. In business and in sport this is true. Just look at city who've never really done it and compare it to Watford who've bought loads in the summer and achieved it.

Look at Chelsea who without the really strong dressing room presence of Drogba Lampard cech etc have fallen into rival camps and in fighting.

I just don't think lfc have strong senior players who have really bought in here. We need a strong core.

Sahko should be one but after that it's hard to see them... henderson, Lucas should be.... but the rest?

I think Klopp needs not a star name though one would be nice... no he needs 3 guys he can rely on week in week out to lead this lot.

He was probably back late this week but he reverted to type a bit and was going to ground and running out of position.... the second goal might be **** from skertl but sahko ran out of position too.

At least he's got another game to look forward too albeit with Toure.

Moreno is rarely in his defensive position seems to much prefer being upftont though he rarely provides anything once there.
The Defence looks worse now than under BR - admittedly the constant CB injuries isn't helping,

Better team won, no arguments from anyone on this side really. There was only one team on that pitch that wanted to win the game and it wasn't us. We got outplayed and outfought in every single area of the pitch, and you've got to give Watford credit because that's how you've been playing all season, it wasn't a fluke or a one off performance, it was the norm for your team.

I think we actually need to follow your example, because you've shown that you can overhaul the first team in a summer and still come out the other side with a cohesive unit. We will need to do the same next summer.

  20. True. Sakho also answered a lot of critics before he got injured recently. Even Tobes started to give him praise <yikes>
