When he played for us I never liked him but... Am I the only one concerned with Kilkenny being on the pitch and us winning by just 1 goal at present
If it's more fun watching paint dry, why did you read, and reply to my comments any way? and I can't see the sadness in replying to someones details comments/reply Is this a forum for debate and conversations, or just 1 or 2 liners about the weather, holidays and the price of chips. I've always given detail in most things I write whether it's a personal opinion or a differing opinion to others, you've seen it regularly yourself, it's the way I write, is there something wrong in doing that as well? Was there really any need to create a header? By your own admission, you referred to an article but admitted you couldn't provide the evidence, yet continually go on at me about providing evidence. Would you say that's a bit hypercritical? To reiterate, I'm happy to concede if the details suggest I was wrong. I've conceded I got my games mixed up as Antenucci signed later than most players. Sometimes I can't believe what some say on here, or on media forums, but I don't go jumping on their backs to try and change their opinions. They're entitled to their opinions as they look at situations; people look at things differently and from different angles, including you and me, and I'll continue to exercise that right. I mentioned my opinion twice, and you still kept on about it because you couldn't believe my opinion. From memory, without going back to look, I said I'd like to see Antenucci and Duke upfront together again, just to see if it made a difference to our game and performances I still say I'd have more confidence with Ant and Duke up front than Wood as a lone striker or in a double striker partnership. Don't managers/coaches buy players based on their past performances?......Don't some fans, including yourself, talk about bringing former players back based on past performances? "It's very useful in defending set pieces" you were talking about scoring goals with the head, your comment came out of left field and didn't make sense, nor did it remotely look like it was connected to your debate on scoring goals with the head. See above. Stats don't support a lot of peoples opinions, including yours, but as I've previously mentioned, everyone is entitled to voice their views and opinions as they see it. I know what you mean, me too, even forgetting Antenucci signed later than most other players. Never avoided it at all, you're making assumptions. I've answered this one further up. Wood has played both as a lone striker and in a duo strike partnership, as far as my opinion goes, my opinion remember, I don't think he's been prolific, an impact or consistent in any formation, Hull game aside. "You asked the question "who will score from outside of the box" and I simply replied that Wood had a rocket shot. That comment to me, and probably to some others would be a comparative or inference. Based on Woods games, and goals scored, when are we going to see this rocket shot of his, Antenucci uses his long shots. That's your opinion though and I respect it. Don't remember mentioning you said it, but you go on about Wood like he's an exceptional striker, I personally have yet to see it. At what already, more assumptions? I'm entitled to say what I like based on my opinions without aimed assumptions or accusations. If I meant to say other fans, I would've said so. The term fans was used in general without mentioning how many or who. Of course you'd rather trust Evans to rebuild a players confidence than me, he's the coach. Having said that, how many games will it take for Wood become a more deadly and prolific striker. I remember Redders saying about Morison "he's got a goal in him, he's got a goal in him" and kept playing him, which cost us points imo. I don't share your opinion on Wood, I think we've eventually established that. Now, the question I asked you in my last comments I think it was, When has Wood scored with his head? Another essay for you, how's the paint doing?....
was just about to same thing Boggers.... but, we're only 5 points of play off places, clawing the gap back 1 point at a time.
But so did I in my original reply to your use of the word brail (sic) so to answer your question, yes, one of us did again
Madrid score ten result = 3 points. Leeds score 1 result = 3 points. Performance irrelevant. Five points from playoffs and that's ten points from twelve
Waiting for my lift.... Yes a win, but that was as bad a performance as we have put in for years..... Worst possible result. Papers over cracks and Cellino hangs onto the club. We will get battered by Derby and forest if we are not three times better.
Well at least Glory got his first win of the season and 3pts takes us up to 13th. First 11 games pre Evans = 11pts second 11 games with Evans = 18pts Is there anyone who cannot still see any improvement ?
