Lallana made a great contribution to us, but he was a greedy fool and is a small fish in an big pool (nice pun). I know the stats show his end product to be poor and we could see that ourselves, however he was an important cog for us.

    I am delighted he's having a **** time.

Maybe they're wishing 'The Normal One' was a bit more 'special'...

I loved watching lallana at saints but was the first to admit his final ball was awful. Wonderful control of the ball but no end product

Agree with the bolded part. Ramirez having better end product per minute than him in the PL will continue to say it all for me. Especially perplexing to me considering how the two players are viewed and have been treated. I expect things would have turned out very different if Lallana was Uruguayan and Ramirez was English.

I wonder if Klopp is under pressure. After all, the resurgent Liverpool are only three points above relegation certainties Southampton :)

A lot of people didn't take to Ramirez from the start; I don't know why. He was/is a hugely talented player. He hasn't fit in to life or football here but I've always been an admirer of his talent.

    I think we/he wasted him.

Are we sure he'd do well in our 4-2-3-1 system? Players like Ighalo and Vardy seem to be thriving as they have a strike partner. I'd certainly like them.. Both high class players, but we aren't good enough defensively to play a 4-4-2 and give whoever we'd like sign a striker partner are we? Which would frustrate them, and be tougher, compared to playing with a strike partner.

And a successful 4-4-2 would mean Pelle not playing as the strike partner, it would mean playing Long. Pelle's too slow for the successful attacking, or counter attacking, football that these teams are playing.

I know, but it does highlight the oddities of being a fan and the perceptions we have sometimes. In my mind Everton are having a strong season, but in actuality they're only just above us in the league.

An odd season this one, it really is.

I think that's very, very, generous on Everton. They're under-performing imo with the squad they have and not having a good season in my eyes.
