Perhaps Curtis doesn't actually want the job full time. He seems to be happy in his role within the Club, whatever that role is,and has survived the sackings of two managerial incumbents. Why would he put himself at risk of being sacked as Manager if things don't improve? Just a thought.
If he was Joses regular number 2 I'd agree, but how long has he been with him? Joses had a few assistant managers.
I'm not saying Curtis is the best man for the job either , but he is within the constraints that are happening right now . If Curtis gets a few good results and has the players eager , I'd let him run with it as a "Caretaker " manager while whistling along checking on resumes . I think it's the only way Curtis would carry on , is as a caretaker manager , he doesn't want something to happen as a "Real " manager and get axed and have to leave the club ....he's the " Jackest of Bastards "
Bit surprised Routs doesn't even make the bench , but I like the line up . Nobody really out wide but maybe that's part of the plan .
Curtis said that there were no injuries a few times other than Tabanou and Ader so draw your own conclusions . Although I'm confident of a win , I'll not hold Curtis to a " Must win " . As far as I'm concerned he's all we have left that's stable and deserves respect at the club who doesn't play . Good luck to him and his team and it's another brave line up but nice to see changes from one game to another
