No idea Mr Kempton. I like to think SB would resign and admit He has run out of ideas. He has seemed lost on the touch line lately. I get the feeling he doesnt know how to improve things.
If we really want Bruce to be sacked, we should try a little reverse phycology and show Allam how much we love Steve and demand he stays. That'll surely be the end of him.
I think he might surprise us. Allam will be fretting constantly about those tens of millions of pounds he's owed. If we're still in the same division next summer there'll be a further exodus of the best players. Things could only go one way then. It could end up like the Bolton situation.
I did like the banner at Chelsea yesterday naming the "three rats". Costa, hazard and fabregas. They got resounding boos when names read out before game. They will all be gone in January most likely so give the ****s it with both barrels Chelsea fans.
That's the real worry, not getting up this season won't be the end of the world, but it may well be the end of Hull City afc.
I said at the start of the season that I didn't mind if we didn't go up as long as in every game we attacked the opposition and didn't worry about them, and played with some desire. We haven't done that, I would say for the majority of games we have relied on the opposition sitting so deep and just letting us come on to them. The fact we continue to play so poorly in the first half week in week out, is it the players letting Bruce down? Or is Bruce not changing anything? Unless we are on the inside it's quite hard to say. Something clearly needs to change, whether that is a couple of new signings or Bruce leaving, we can't continue the way we are going as it's not enjoyable and it won't win us promotion.
Irrespective of results, I've had enough of Bruceys dire football, its completely not entertaining. I'm sure we've all seen more City matches were the football level wasn't great, but we saw effort, passion for the cause, and a desire to get in the faces of the opposition and put them under pressure. Nowadays we play 95% of our football in front of the opposition and play sideways or backwards passes, possession wins you nothing, goals do. In saying that the players look as if they are playing in strait jackets, no freedom or flexibility, so the buck has to stop with the manager who issues the tactics and playing style. I for one don't want to see him go mid season, but please get rid next Summer
After going yesterday I have to say for the first time I fully agree with those that want Bruce out. Not left a game as thoroughly pissed off as that in a long time. Rotherham looked like such a poor side and they were making sloppy mistakes at the start of the game. We didn't capitalise and punish these mistakes and ultimately it cost us. If we'd taken one of those chances either side of half time it could have been different but it's unforgivable for such a poor side to run out deserved winners. Both manager and players need to take the blame but yesterday we looked like a team crying out for a change and fresh ideas. Bruce is in the last chance saloon for me with these next 3 games but I find it hard to see a sudden change happening.
Season barely half over. Signs not good right now but this division needs grafters not posers with a price tag. Daws absence takes away our leadership were it matters. His experience calms the dressing room, younger prospects listen, leads by example. D ithering in midfield, chopping and changing up front, injuries and now letting water in at the back. Time to get behind the club,or scream for a change and expect instant carman from new face..Mmmm. Wise men say.. Pearson OUT
