I don't know if it's been mentioned, but we scored twice as many goals today as all the other teams combined in the first 7 games at Old Trafford this season (ie. they had only conceded once in the previous 7 games). Mulumbu almost made it 3!
I think we can take a huge amount of belief from this game. You just have to look at Bournemouth for the effect some confidence has a on a decent squad! Perfect time to get a good feeling around the club as the games come thick and fast over christmas.
i thought both Mulumbu and Mbokani showed some good touches and movement when they came on s late subs. Wouldn't be averse to seeing both get bigger roles to play as opposed to 10 minute 'cameos'
Couldn't agree more. FANTASTIC result and just shows what AN and the team can do!!!! Edit - I've been out all evening and only just seen the Newcastle - Villa result!! What a Xmas present!! On another note - look at Leicester last season, bottom of the PL on 10 points and now top of the PL going into the Xmas period!!! January is going to be a pivotal month, with the reverse games against Bournemouth and Liverpool.
Great result last night! Shows how far Utd have fallen under LVG when I'd have been disheartened if we didn't secure any points. Take nothing away from the players though - great performance and result! LVG must be a dead man walking..

I hope so - you were the team willing to take a punt on him when he was playing lower league football and your style of play actually plays to his strengths. You only have to look at the success Grant Holt brought to our club for a comparison, but Vardy is a FAR better player.
