No you're wrong because that's different to what TinTin says.

Gazza gets let down by the defence... Stekkers was **** behind Caulker

Soares switches off defensively... It's Ron's fault for denting his confidence a month ago.

And some people were accused by TinTin for finding excuses (words to that effect) when their favourites were criticised a few months back.

    Double standards here.

He probably has lost confidence over being in and out the side. Getting dropped for a centre back.. There is nothing remotely unbelievable about that in the slightly. Yoshida's confidence has been hurt by getting played out of position and not getting any chances at centre back in a back four...

No keeper is expected to keep the shots out that Gazzaniga let in today. A premier league keeper is expected to keep at least two out, if not three, that Stekelenburg let in against Liverpool.

Of course a player might lose confidence from being in and out the side. Getting dropped for a player that's out of position (a centre back playing right back). I didn't mention the goal, I meant in general. The error for the goal was nothing to do with Koeman. You have a habit of lying about what I've said. I never blamed Cedric's specific error today on Koeman did I....

You write some absolute rubbish at times.

I agree with all that, my disappointment comes froms the bench and the use of it, we seem stuck with the same 17 players and will not change, when in my opinion I think there may be some better options for the bench

Other than that horrendous error, Cedric wasn't bad today. But that's been the story all season.

But it's not lack of confidence. It's lack of concentration. He starts watching the ball and drifting towards play, forgetting all about his man or his position at the front or back post. When he is actually defending the man with the ball, he's fine. His tackling is good, and if he can't tackle, he usually steers his man the right direction.

And you have no idea when people (me) just take the piss out of your exacting, tactically genius posts.

    You missed out three words...

    In. Your. Opinion.

I have got some breaking news: your view is an opinion, not fact. Please stop posting as if things would definitely happen as you say them. It's boring. You are making educated guesses, that is all.

FLT you're actually properly boring. Stop having the same jibes at the same people and actually talk about football. You seem to derail every single thread recently. It was pelle for months now it's tintin. I happen to agree with most of what he writes, and no issue with how he comes across.

Back to the real issue, I don't think the back four are to blame, I think it's the midfield shielding

So you disagree with him there as he was saying that Wanyama and Clasie were okay today (which I agree with).

Asking Fats to talk about football, then criticising him for talking about Pelle? You realise that sounds a bit weird, right?

Thanks. Sorry if I derailed Pelle. Perhaps his poor form was my fault.... Was me moaning about Pelle not taking about football? Or is it just because you didn't agree?

I agree with a lot of what TinTin writes but do have an issue with how he often writes it, so I'll say that. It's a forum, yes? I find that he seems to relish in criticising anything the manager of my team does and always has a factual answer to it. I think that he delivers that view as a fact when it is mostly an opinion. So I'll challenge that if I feel like it.

I'll choose to defend that and will do that whether it bores you or not.

    Ok?

On the one hand you are claiming I'm posting things as if it's factual. Yet you mention I say words like probably. And seems to. I also use imo and in my opinion a lot. I'll give you a hint. It makes it clear it's my opinion and that I'm not posting it as if it's a fact. You can't have it both ways.

Sometimes things are factual. Like a player having more attacking end product than another player. One player creating more chances than another player. One player making more tackles than another player.

You are actually incapable of giving your opinion and discussing football (when you respond to me). All you do is moan and complain about me and my opinion. You never discuss football and have an unhealthy love for Koeman. You absolutely despise him getting criticised and you hate any suggestions getting made about the team selections, substitutions etc. It's a football forum but you don't want anyone discussing <doh>

You're going on my block list now. I gave you plenty of chances. Bye.

I have an unhealthy love for the manager of my team and the goalkeeper (who isn't actually owned by my team) ...

    Anything else?

I know you feel like that about tintin's posts. I know because you've said it every single time he posts on every single thread for the last three/four weeks.

Whoever is to blame and for whatever reason, Saints have gone downhill big style. Inability to get the ball in the net and major defensive balls ups are not a great recipe. Even though we started off well today i was not at all confident and thought that we would end up getting stuffed yet again. We have nobody in this squad who can grab a game by the scruff of its neck and force a result a la MLT, Rickie Lambert, etc. I have waited patiently for this Clasie guy to start performing but thus far he has been a major disappointment to me. Maybe it will all click v Arsenal, but im not holding my breath.

Full backs. That's our biggest problem imo, why we're so imbalanced and why the two CBs have been exposed all season. Bertrand's form hasn't been great since his return, and Cedric hasn't settled. We know Bertrand is up to it, not so sure about Cedric; Yoshida at RB isn't the answer either, I don't really know what is, but I really think that's the root of all our problems, not lack of cover from midfield and not lack of creativity from there either

The last time we had this problem, we unearthed Luke Shaw. Maybe we can do it again, maybe that's too much to hope for.

Well our only promising right back is on loan at Wycombe, and our manager doesn't believe in giving young players a chance.

Isn't McCarthy a CB? Is he playing full back at Wycombe?

When we signed Koeman, I was straight on the phone to my two Dutch colleagues. The two things that stuck in my mind from that conversation were these:

    1. Don't give him lots of money to spend, he'll waste it

    2. He's great at giving kids a chance.

Before I get moaned at :) I'm just pointing out what was said and what I posted on here at that time.

It's hardly suprising that our young players are not being used when they get the frankly disgraceful abuse from sections of the crowd that Matt Targett suffered.
