    Man Utd - 1st

    Liverpool - 6th (I think)

    Man Utd 3-2 Liverpool
    Man Utd 1-0 Liverpool (Cup)
    Liverpool 3-1 Man Utd

    So if Man Utd finished above Liverpool, and beat Liverpool more times than they have been beaten by Liverpool, then that must mean that Man Utd have been better than Liverpool in the 10/11 season.
