Chelsea fans should be furious with their players, I'm not even being to critical of our lads because for the first 20 minutes, Chelsea turned it on and were absolutely outstanding. Not many teams, if any, could live with them playing like that. It proves that the players were simply playing to get Jose sacked.
Just checked the league table and the fixtures coming up. It doesn't look good and I'm going to go on record now for predicting we will be relegated this season. I just don't see a way out for us.
Also down to some daft results for our relegation rivals. Some results are just ridiculous. Bournmouth beat Chelsea. Newcastle beat Liverpool & Spurs Norwich beat Man Utd.
Way too early for that imo. We all have to play every single team again yet... Doesn't look good atm, but we've survived worse.
While I can feel relegation looming, as ****ing usual, I think we've got a better manager and team than we've had in the past when we've managed to stay up.
It's going to be very ****ing difficult. Norwich win at ManUre, Bournemouth win 3 on the trot. I have a feeling the Mags will smashVilla. We have to put several wins together in Jan to have a chance of staying up. It ain't happening this month... ...on a diffetent note, I hope Leicester stick it out and win the league, to **** off the big guns and show it can be done.
I'm certainly not gunna drag this board down in doom and gloom like certain posters (we might actually see one magically reappear soon...) The difference for me compared to other seasons is the strength and quality of the opposition around us this time, they all look strong and look like they'll be able to continue to pick up points regularly. As has been mentioned, we have simply been left far to short on quality this time around and the players simply aren't there to make practically any formation that Sam tries, work. Ellis Short has to have one of his biggest windows to date in January to give us a glimpse and I simply don't see it happening. I also agree that Ellis Short is to blame.
