I arranged to meet QWOP in a York pub about 3 years ago, it was the first of our 6 in a row victories and since then he has become a very good friend to not only me but my family down here also. My little girl Ella loves him to bits and he does have a natural kind way around children, he will make a good father himself someday. As you say, football rivalries apart people are people, good and bad in all. QWOP has done a few Sunderland matches now with me and hopefully we will be back up there in the New Year..
I fully understand. I have loads of mag mates (despite the impression of dislike for them i can give on this board) That has took time though. As i grew up with a dislike for them. Same as blacks. Same as Pak....nah cant say that now. At one time didnt like cockneys... any of them. Now my boss and also my best mate is an arsenal fan. But also living in surrey for over 8 years, you have to adapt. I went to matches with them (exept spurs, never been to whl for some reason) and some would come north with me. Especially me hammers mates, who love the ne. So you and qwop enjoying each others company is of no suprise. Long may it continue. Also this may not lie correct with some on here. first half watmore was pulled back 3 times, while running at goal not even a yellow, even the commentators were upset with the decision
Chelsea though are keeping the ball, passing well, and had a boatload of chances of a goal. making us look like schoolboys, sam changed it around by bringing AJ on for coates.
