Merry Christmas boys and girls! What have you asked Santa for this year? I've asked him for some Star Wars figures, seriously. I'm collecting them and keeping them in their boxes like I wish I'd have done back in the 70's and 80's. Also some smellies.. It's been a really difficult year for me and those l love. Firstly my son in law was diagnosed with cancer and the shock and worry of that sent my daughter into premature labour. My Grandaughter was born at 28 weeks weighing 2 pounds and 7oz. Thankfully Mum and baby were fine. Three weeks ago the baby caught a nasty cold virus which gave her Broncitus, being so tiny her lungs could not cope and she stopped breathing. My daughter has been by her bedside in ICU for three weeks, my son in law is having weekly chemo following a massive surgery. There two year old, my precious Grandson is bewildered and missing his Mommy, at a time when all should be home doing Chrismassy stuff. Events like this are sent to remind us of those things that are really important. So this year l want a happy, healthy family, all together on Christmas Day. Oh and a Maserati in powder blue with cream leather interior. So Happy Christmas Toonies one and all, don't forget to tell those you love, that you do. Xxxxx

GLITF has had a tough year and I hope she has some cheer and better news at Christmas and for the coming year, never easy when so much happens, my Christmas wish is hoping that the consultant cardiologists can sort out my mums heart problem, 2 failed angioplasties and counting, not the plan I had for this decade of my life as had to jack my new job in that I had taken after my dads death to come back to the North East to care for her, the thing is though for all my moans there are a lot of people worse off so I shall spare a thought for them this year and be thankful for the good bits that I have.
