For me, Maloney and Diame are too good to sit on the bench. We need players that can make things happen. And hopefully more game time for Ann Diamond.
When we started experimenting and changing we didn't win games. When we kept a steady line up we looked good and won. We have a great bench and the temptation is to tinker, but I'd settle for the same or very similar. I think we may have a couple of changes due to the number of games and we have lots of options up top with advanced midfielders. However we line up there will always be quality on the bench and that's not a bad thing!
Rotherham is the away ground I've been to the most often, never seen us win. The only time I didn't make it in about 6 seasons, we won. I'm not going today. Ergo we will win. Nailed. On.
McGregor Elmo Davies Maguire Robertson Dave Jake Meyler Maloney Diame Hernandez Would like to start Snodgrass for Dave but no chances taken with injury. Elmo much better as right back worse this season in right mid. Happy with Diame or Diamonde up front / as 1 behind striker.
Maybe Bruce will chuck in Ann Diamond for Chuka 'hissy fit' Akpom but I agree with most Maloney might gives us a bit more buzz on the park. Bruce might have had enough of Diame, could be another one not really bothered and got a move lined up in January
One of Elmo or Dave needs to sit out, Maloney first choice to come in if so, not sure how he'll handle akpom, but attitude aside thought he was poor on weds so diomande or diame for me
Not sure about recalling Diame he has been dreadful when played behind the striker , two strikers up top for me
I'd put Elmo right back and swap Odubajo for Snodgrass if fit. I think Elmo is better coming from deep as he can build up momentum. I'd drop Akpom and play Maloney. I'd probably put Maloney behind Hernandez but him and Clucas can generally swap positions throughout to keep the opposition on their toes. But we won on Wednesday so it'll be the same team. That's not the end of the world.
