A mid-teenager, though not a yob. I'm technically still a teenager, I'm 19. I'm just saying that not every teenager is a yob.

I was using resort in the context that you have resorted to insults, I bet you feel so clever. Plus I was saying calling me Topdumb is probably classed as an insult as being dumb is not something most people would regard as complimentary. I didn't think being called a teen was insulting as that just means a person who has been on the planet less time than someone else, big deal! However your speculation is incorrect.

That chip on your shoulder from living in Arsenal's shadow is really showing in your attitude.

Ever the pedant, he didn't actually think you worthy of a capital letter, hence him calling you topdumb not Topdumb like you say.

So, according to you, signing five times more former Spurs players than Arsenal players makes him Arsenal obsessed?

    WHERE is your BRAIN?

Come on Gents, let's keep it friendly <ok>

This article is obviously written in with a bit of 'tounge-in-cheek'. If you want to dismantle the claims, feel free to do so, but let's leave out the personal stuff.

We're going to get loads of cross board threads, especially when the season starts, so it would be good if we could deal with them amongst ourselves in a manner that doesn't involve the mods having to delete comments and break up cyber-fights.

We all want a bit of banter eh? Let's see if we actually deal with it.

Harry Redknapp has signed William Gallas and...no, he's signed William Gallas.

    Idiot.

And if you want to debate that, just consider the minor fact that Juande Ramos signed Bentley, as well as the fact you are an idiot.

    What a stupid point.
I'm sure that Redknapp has signed lots of players from lots of clubs.

If I showed that he'd signed lots of Spurs players, would that make him Spurs obsessed?
He's signed 5 at Spurs, that have already been mentioned.
Add Judas, Noe Pamarot, Sean Davis, Pedro Mendes, Defoe and Crouch (for a change) while at Pompey.
Casey Keller, Jamie Redknapp and Calum Davenport when he was at Southampton.
Dumitrescu and Ruddock at West Ham get somewhere near to completing the set.

That means that he's totally Spurs obsessed, apparently.
Quite appropriate for the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, really.

Its a bit dubious to include the 5 previously listed as some of those he sold himself then bought back, plus he only had to re-sign the others because he bought them at Portsmouth.

Its just interesting the amount of Arsenal players Arry as a manager has signed or is interested in signing, while none in recent times have gone the other way. Perhaps because they are not good enough for Arsenal?

He's signed loads of players from loads of teams.
He has a high turnover of players and has managed several different clubs.

It's hardly surprising that he signed players that weren't good enough for Arsenal when he was at Portsmouth, Southampton or West Ham, is it?
Since joining Spurs, he's only signed Gallas, who easily outperformed all of your centre-halves last season, so I'd suggest that he was good enough for you, but that Wenger messed up.

    Gallas or Squillaci? :emoticon-0112-wonde

Oh how convenient, pointing out anything that makes you look like a factually-challenged moron is cheating...

I think the multi board postings can work if we resist the temptation to post personal insults.

By all means, dismantle somebody's argument.

But the personal stuff just leads to cyber-fights and that's where the threads fall apart.

Because this isn't either of those boards, Ensil.

If we use them correctly, then they can work.
Treat them as a neutral meeting place and they can be a useful tool.
Treat them as the edge of a war zone and they'll become a WUMfest.

It's a new feature on a relatively new forum though, Ensil.

Give people time to adjust and ignore try not to let the less constructive posters drag you down to their level.
Stick to pointing out what's wrong with what they're saying and they'll just look stupid if they start WUMing.

I agree Ensil, we get a few 'nice' gooners who come on here and add to the debate, but when you get morons who can post freely, we can't just ban them from our board.
