Mourinho sacked...

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by FosseFilberto, Dec 17, 2015.

  1. Fossil, you're venting your very pathetic spleen on someone who has told the Chelsea boys that it's a massive mistake getting rid of The Sacked One.

You really do need to do your homework before falling into the PIXIE-attack-HIAG-at-all-costs trap. I really don't want to start "owning" you.

Probably not a bad thing. ISIS will park the bus, that should make air strikes against them easier.

Apparently Mourinho was saddened to be sacked. £20million plus pay off for losing a job that was making him miserable!

... I might respond to this better if I could understand what the fook you are trying to say ... am I 'The Sacked One' or is that Mourinho? ... and if you think I single you out for my remarks, and at all costs, you are more of a delusional spud than mere Dauphinoise .. you are bordering on Lyonnaise if not a full blown Lancashire Hotpot <laugh>

Fabregas, Terry and Azpil have been supportive of Mourinho on social media. So who are the players who got him sacked? Hazard & Costa?

Will be interesting to see if Hazard is suddenly fit again to play.

    Terry.

He played every minute of last season, but was dropped early on this. He was obviously unhappy. Terry is the one constant for Chelsea in the Abramovich era. Kick him and they all limp.

He can't play for ever - I would say he is declining. With Zouma and Cahill, he's lucky he plays as much as he does.

What I find interesting about the current situation is that Mourinho - the self styled special one - couldn't motivate these players as a full manager, Hiddink, as an interim appointment whose career is on the slide after his time with Holland - will be able to. They'll just laugh in his face knowing he won't be there next year.

I don't think so, mate. The **** stirrers have got what they wanted - Mourinho out. They'll probably start actually playing now, unfortunately!

  15. Exactly what I predicted.

The problem for Chelsea is, however, that the players have been permitted by their Mad Dog owner to constantly undermine any manager they don't like. Chelsea's management structure seems to work more like a collective, with the players doing what the manager asks them to, provided it does upset anyone. That is not a healthy place to be for a club.

Imagine if a young Fergie had taken over at Chelasea! How long would he have lasted?

The discipline that Mourhino demands would be ideal for a club like United.

Fergie brooked no opposition to his rule. Any player who stepped out of line was dropped and sold asap.

Dissenters were 'summararily executed' "pour encourager les autres". To quote Voltaire.

Maybe Maureen should have followed suit? Or maybe he wasn't allowed to??

  17. CFC now have a players' collective, with the full endorsement of their owner. Any manager going into that club has got to be able to deal with that.

Fergie would not have dealt with it, and he would have been sacked.

IF, that's the case, and we don't know the full circumstances for sure, I'd agree. But then, no manager can effectively manage under those conditions.

If Abramovich is always going to back the players over the manager, that's a recipe for disaster!

  19. My point exactly, NSS!

I truly do believe that the Russian has made a massive rod for his own back.

It's ironic, really, because I have a massive rod, and it almost breaks my back.

Possibly. But as soon as one of them is dropped they'll start **** stirring again. Hiddinck will have no real power over them. If the shackles are taken off and they play well, then it could end up working out for them. A couple of defeats and then it may not.
